Neil Gaiman's The Sandman is one of my all time favorite series. DC Comics wants to hook you on it as well and has made the first issue available on line to download and read. I highly recomend it:

If only they'd finish the Line of Sandman figures. It annoys me that i'll never finish my Endless.
