I think they suck so far.

Flash's feet was the worse idea ever. It just totally turned me off (not that I get off on figures! lol) ahem...

It just shows to prove that beautiful art doesn't necessarily make beautiful action figures in 3-D form!

They are okay but the Flash figure is awful and impossible to keep upright. I am only after the Batman related ones now.

Has anyone done a comparison as to how well the Rosstice Sinestro displays with the new (Rebirth) Hal Jordan?

Just curious if he's grossly oversized or would make a good companion piece...

He is alot taller than Hal I can try to post a picture if you want.

I'd like to see that photo. Also, a comparison with any other figures (particularly the first DCD Sinestro would be greatly appreciated.

Yes please! That's the main reason I haven't gotten Sin yet, as I got the feeling he would be too tall.

Thanks!

Being a middle aged man, I thought the comments about the figures rather funny.

I am not buying any of the figures. Just not interested in them and from the sound of it they don't fit in with any of the other DCD lines so it means yet another line that will probably never be completed.

I'd rather save my money for the seemingly forgotten JSA 2-packs to complete the JSA line or more Legionnaires or Teen Titans or Marvel Family.

Yeah, I'd love for my classic JSA to get completed. An assortment with GA and Modern JSA would be perfect!

Sadly, I suspect the only reason we got so many classic JSA figures for a while was because DCD couldn't do Supes, Bats and the normal JLA, so they went for the next best thing. There sure have been a LOT of Bats and Supes coming out from DCD lately...

I definitely like Alex Ross's artwork a lot, but I'm really not too fond of how his Superman comes out in action figure form. The paint apps on the eyes just have to be so precise that i still haven't found a single JLA Supes that I'd buy, and if there's not a good Supes, then the lines practically already dead to a guy like me whose budget will likely force me to only choose the main JLA characters. Unless Batman's done amazingly well, it's going to be a debate as to whether I should hunt these guys down or not, particularly since I'd probably have to repaint the eyes on Superman myself. Final product came out a lot better than the Kingdom Come version though.

Just curious if anyone has placed their AR Superman and Flash near Hard Travellin Heroes Green Arrow and Martian Manhunter? Mine are still in the box (won't open until I can open up some space) and they look like they might fit in the line.

I'm just trying to think ahead in case DCD stops early (I still need a Kingdom Come King Arthur and Power Woman)

I like em!

I hope Mike is right and we get all 30 figures. From your mouth to their ears buddy!

I think I like the second wave more than the first mainly because of the fact that The Flash and Cheetah are pre-posed. They would have been better if they could have been just standard type figures.

One question I have not seen answered is what is the rod in Sinestro's hand?

Mine are on the way and I expect to get them by Monday so I will be able to get a better look.

My understanding is that figure is a re-release with swappable "heroic" and "alien" heads.

Flash I like but the preposed legs and "turkey neck" are not real cool (in fact, they're on my list to "fix" hehehehhe.

I agree. The Flash's neck and legs ruined the figure for me. After seeing that in person, I decided not to get any from the first wave except for Superman. The more I think about it, though, the more I liked the Cheetah and Bizarro. I may end up getting those.
