Woo! I didn't really have a problem with the initial head, but if they went to the trouble of completely rebuilding it from the ground up, it has to be top-notch this time. Kudos, CB! While you're at it, can you get to sculpting that Wonder Woman? Thanks.

Glad they are redoing Firestorm's face. Now if they'd just make him the regular figure and the modern version the chase, I'd be one totally satisfied customer!

Hey Cornboy,
Since you watch these boards, could you ask Mattel if you can post pics of the head when its finished? By the way, I also like the Penguin sculpt.

Wow, that is nice of them. I didn't have a huge problem with the head but that violent diarrhea face would get to me after awhile. Let's hope he is seen with a smirk.

Great news on Ronnie! Does anyone know how many of him will come in a case?
Thanks,
PG

Great news on Ronnie, now if the variant Penguin will just come with a completely differnt color scheme instead of just an added robot penguin...

Yeah, but Classic Firestorm's sleeves and collar are still wrong.

Yesterday I was looking at the Jason Firestorm figure that DCD just put out and it had "poofy" sleeves on it, too, so it would seem to me that both versions of Firestorm are going to be "wrong" as an "artistic" choice made by all of the powers-that-be in the approval process.

I never collected the figures, but I loved the show and movies.

I didn't have a big problem with the original head, but glad to hear that they changed it due to fan input. Now if they can make sure we all can find one (or in my case two--gotta get the kid a Ronnie also ) I'd be REALLY excited.

Hope he's not as impossible as Blue Supergirl, Two Face and Batgirl have been to find.

Actually, they gave him a new costume sometime within the run of that book with poofy sleeves. I guess all those protesters lining Avenue of the Americas really worked!
