Post subject: Legs sculpt for upcoming DCAU
PostPosted: Mon Sep 10, 2007 7:13 pm
Hi, i just want to ask if we feel to run a poll, if we prefer females bodys like the first sculpts wonder woman and Hawkgirl or the other legs sculpt for the new upcoming DCAU female characters. If anyone think a poll about this is productive say it or just start it.
Personally, i think that the 1st Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl are closely to the Bruce timm designs.
So, if you want to start a poll just do it.

Use the legs they used on the Shayera exclusive. Just use a dremeled down version of that whole body (no belly button).

Ok, but i´m asking for upcoming 2008 DCAU figures. Which sculpt you prefer.
I didn´t start a poll because i don´t know how it´s work. But since we know Mattel is always hearing us i think is a good moment for "legs petitions"

I like the Shayera body better too, but it is taller than the basic female body they use.

I think they should just make a new, no heeled set of legs for the basic body and continue to use that so as to keep the female characters in scale.

Because if you made Killer Frost out of the Shayera body, even though the legs would be right, she would be too tall.

I think they should use whatever base is appropriate for a given character. there's no need to stick with just one.

I agree. Use what is available and mix it up. Go with what works and looks best for the particular character. Myself, the spread leg stance and super straight arms has always kindve bugged me and looks unatural.

Yeah your right, it does look kinda forced. If they were to retool some closer stanced legs with flat feet for that body it would look much better.

I agree...I say use the approriate body for each character also. I like the arm on the hip thing but axe the jacket for a different look. Maybe even both arms on their hips to look sexy-kewl. With the stands provided now..the legs can pretty much be done in any position.

How about a 6pack featuring Roulette and her "Glamour Girls". Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, and other JLU females dressed as hookers. Just kidding. :D

I think the Batgirl/Catwoman body would be perfect for characters like Supergirl, Stargirl, Gypsy, Killer Frost, etc.

I agree on Killer Frost and the two girls...I dont know about Gypsy...but I think Mattel would be missing a HUGE oppurtunity by not re-using the Shyera Hol body!

I like the legs closer together, for that classic silouette look remeniscent of Bruce's style.

I think Mattel should re-sculpt the arms so it doesn't look like all the women are pounding their thighs with their fists.
