I think that all Hal threads should be locked.
To do my part, I'll be updating my DCAU line FAQ over the weekend.
Peace,
Chip

It's OK to talk about Holiday Hal. It's even OK to be upset by it. It's just when it starts geting vicious that the trouble starts.
I hope that eventually all of the clamor for this figure shakes some sense into the WB suits and fans can all get HAL! Let the Holiday packaging and the Bruce Timm signature be the thing that makes it collectable and limited. There will still only be 100 in that configuration. (or 99 now that Ham Salad has opened his an put him in all sorts of peril)
I know I'm preachin' to the choir.

Me too. But I just posted that in the cheap Grundy thread, so I didn't want to be repetitive.

Can someone say (or speculate) how this agreement was worded that you mention? Like Mattel asks WB/DC "We hereby ask for your permission to make an exclusive Hal Jordan figure and as to not violoate the definition of exclusive give up all rights to ever use this characters name or likeness in said toy line."
I'm not trying to flame or anything, it's just that I work with legal agreements fairly regularly but I can't imagine how this would have been worded as it seems to screw over both parties (no licencing fees and all)
