a repaint of the Nightwing Mattel released in a 2 pack with Batman a few years back? It seems to at least be the same head, but does the DCSH one have greater articulation or is it exactly the same?

Just a repaint. No new articulation.

Thanks Kastor,
I like the color scheme of the old one better as it is more comic accurate, but I like that metallic blue better. If only they could have left the boots, gloves, and belt black for the new one it would have been perfect.

I agree, but I guess it's pretty easy to paint them black if you wanted to.
What I really don't like is the lack of any articulation on the arms. I mean, it's one thing to have Bruce with no way to bend his arms, but Nightwing needs to be in action poses. I may not even open this one up and just sell it off.

the one from the 2 pack is an ok place holder till the 4hm get a shot at making Nightwing, I never understand why Mattel didnt let the 4hm do Robin or Nightwing.

Wait, so the 4 horseman were not sculpting for Mattel's Batman line pre-DCSH? I think the Nightwing is pretty good anyway (except for the lack of articulation) but if the 4Horseman are going to do new sculpts, man oh man!

Yeah, the Superman looked very different to me but the Nightwing and Robin didn't.

If your willing to do a cost & shipping on him let me know.Poseable or not I gotta have that Nightwing.Or maybe a trade for an older DCSH that you might need??? If I have it on my list still. LMK thanks, Man-Bat1

Thanks Kastor,
I just won my placeholder Nightwing on ebay! The old Batman color scheme, not the new one so at least its a little more comic accurate. Hopefully those purportadly fake lists of next years SDCC waves that have been circulating are more accurate than Mattel is letting on as the claim was that Nightwing would be in one of those waves along with a GL and Wonder Woman. Hopefully fall Toyfair will shed some light. He is definitely one of my favorites as well.
