Post subject: To Mattel... DCUC: We need a DOOMSDAY BAF in Wave 4! Posted: Sat Oct 13, 2007 11:21 am |

Well, since we are getting Grundy as a BAF in wave 3... I definetly say we need to see Doomsday re-done as a Build-A-Figure for Wave 4!! The original figure from the 4H was great, but make him BIGGER! Sculpt a new screaming-pose head, and you have the ingredients for one of the best BAF's in this line yet!! Doomsday was just one of the coolest Superman villains, and he need a better and bigger figure... what do you all think?

I think so too. The other Doomsday is too small. The real problem though is the 4 H Joker. He's WAY too small. Put him next to Two Face and you'll see what I mean. Hopefully, we'll get a new sculpted Doomsday and Joker soon.

Yeah, I am upset a new Joker was not produced for the last Batman wave...
Once Harley Quinn comes out next year, he next to that Joker will look kinda weird.

you could use the TDK 6" joker w/ comic head. thats my plan until an official one is released.
as for doomsday as a BAF, it's not entirely necessary. if you look at the two-ups, doomie is about as tall (actually a teeny bit shorter) than darkseid. make darkseid as the BAF and doomsday as one of the figures. in the comics, darkseid is like 8'9". call it 9 feet. he would be perfect for the BAF.

Doomsday would be a good BAF down the line, I can wait though. There are plenty of other BAF candidates that I would rather see before Doomsday.

I'm into it, but actually want the Green Suited Version first. Might sound crazy, but I think it'd be a cool figure and different enough to warrant doing. Perhaps him and a new, bigger Doomsday in a 2-pack....

Mattel just got the BIG license for the entire DCU. No way I'd want to see ANY character done as part of the Batman/Superman taking up a slot this soon.

as much as i like the dcsh version he is small. a huge doomsday to kick superman around would be good.

While I have no problem with getting a BAF Doomsday eventually, I really don't want to see one this soon after the DCSH version (even if he is too small and was released two years ago). Give the line a couple of years then give us a BAF of him and I gotta say that I like ditko's idea of using the green containment suit for any new version...

I agree with Jim, Superfriend, Azrael24, Quinn & VanillaBlue. There are so many other giant-size characters in the DC Universe. I can wait for a BAF Doomsday. Atom Smasher Chemo (did I spell that right) Giganta Giant Turtle Man Jimmy Olsen Atom Smasher Elastic Girl Colossal Boy

I'd like to see others before Doomsday is redone. As for redone or rereleased figures, I'd prefer a second shot at the hard-to-find figures from earlier in the DCSH line. Or newer ones like Cyborg Superman and Two-Face. Whatever.

Doomsday in wave 4, nope not before Darkseid, but now we will have a Grundy and Grodd taller and bigger than Mongul, Darkseid and Doomsday, I just don't understand these toy companies sometimes but hopefully by wave 10, we will have all three in BAF form
