Very nice. Mattel did listen to some of our packaging suggestions: bio info and stats.

It definitely tree friendly....not much waste at all on it.
And I just noticed on the back.....was there a reason they couldn't use the Metamorpho name?

That is one busy package, but I like it- it also seems to use the same colors as the Super Friends line. My only question is why is Metamorpho not being called that? Rex Mason the Element Man?
I wonder if the name can't be used right now.

I like that retailers are pushing for less packaging for environmental reasons. Good for them.
As for the Rex Mason thing, I would assume some other company must have the name "Metamorpho" trademarked for a toy--like how "Fisto" was taken by Hasbro for "Kit Fisto," so the 2003 MOTU toy had to be called "Battle Fist."

SuperHeroTimes.com has an unfortunate acronym.
The packaging looks good, but no J-hook? Or will there be a tab that unfolds from the back to hang it on pegs? If so, that won't be very sturdy.

I like it because it's different. But ity does suck that it won't fit in with my carded DCSH. Anyways that Batman looks fantastic, if that's the final product, and it looks like it is, then the quality of these figures is going to be phenominal.

Mattel called him Metamorpho in the JLU line, so I wonder what the problem is now. Toy_Z wrote: Ham Salad wrote: Or will there be a tab that unfolds from the back to hang it on pegs? If you look closely at the back of the packaging, it looks like this is the case. Thanks. Somehow I missed that.
