Well I attempted to update the main list again, I'll let you guys go over it and see if I missed anything or got something wrong...

Question about the new photos... what is that thing rubber-banded to Woverine's left hand in the boxed pic?...

As soon as the holidays are over I gotta get out and get caught up with these before they're gone...

BTW, the Spider-Man 3 5 pack showed up at Wal-Mart here with a TRU exclusive sticker on the front. I saw one in the back with a "recall" tag on it but I haven't had the time to check into it and see if they've actaully been sent back...

(Oh, and I gotta buy and extra of that Emma Frost set... she'll be perfect to turn into Mara Jade as Arica for Star Wars...)

Wonder if we'll get an Iron Man or Incredible Hulk sub-line next year along with those movies. I hope so. That would rock. :)

That would most definetly rock!!!

To be fair, both Magneto and Colossus are all new sculpts. Both much better than the original versions. Especially in the case of Magneto. Hell, even Colossus is cooler. And Wolverine looks to be heavily retooled. Looks like Colossus and Wolvie will be able to do the Fastball Special pose also.

Now that I take a closer look, you're right. Hell, I'll get and stop complaining. :D

Agreed. Ever since the picture of FFF and Iron Man went up as a puzzle on the SHS website, I knew he was coming. Can't wait to get him. And wonder what's next for the Mega-Packs. :D

Me too!

And yep, I'm collecting every variant myself. Mostly because other than the tons of Spider-Mans, all of them have been different versions of costumes. Which is great.

Well, God bless you Beast, but I just don't have the $$$/patience/space for that. I mean, I started out doing it, but at this rate, I'd end up flat broke, frustrated and without any house space by getting all the variants. I'm getting the ones I like best and keeping that version of him. I mean, do I really need a green, dark green & grey Hulk? But if others do, hey, that's cool.

I was in my local Wal-Mart picking up some pork chops and mozied over to the action figure aisle to see if there was anything there. As usual, there was nothing new, so I went back out to the mail aisle and passed a group of employees that were putting up a bunch of toys. I stopped to see what they were putting out and my jaw dropped. They were putting out these shelf displays of the Hasbro Transformers & Star Wars - and -
Wave 5 and Wave 6 of the Super Heroes Squad two-packs!

I politely asked if I could get some and they all thee smiled and said "go ahead."

So, I nabbed Iceman/Pyro; Antman/Dr. Strange; Thor/Loki from wave 6.

Got Torch/Annilus; Ultimate Nick Fury/Ultimate Cap; Storm/Black Panther; and Wolverine/Motorcycle from wave 5.

Didn't have any of the Gambit/Rogue two packs from wave 6. :?:

But I was really glad to get what I got.

They were very tasty! Had them with Brussel Sprouts (believe it or not it is my family's favorite vegetable!) and Tater Tots!

Not sure if it's been seen before, but I saw the Spider-Man/Vulture set this morning.

This is the first I've heard of that one being seen. Where was it and you didn't see the Kraven set did you? Those are the last 2 sets from my son's birthday list...

Is it me or are these things addicitive?

I actually seem to find more joy from these than any other toy line I'm collecting.

And at the rate they are being produced it doesn't take long to amass a sizeable collection for relatively little money.

Oh, and Jim, where did you see that Spiderman/Vulture at?

Sorry, guys... I saw it at Wal-Mart. It was in the aisle with the normal stock, but I'm guessing it originally came in the Spider-Man 3 SHS trays. I didn't really have time to look through the packs or the trays to see if there was anything else, but the Kraven set was on the back of the pack as was Puma, Black Cat and Mysterio -- not sure on the rest.

I picked up a spiderman/vulture two pack at Walmart the other day and they didn't have any of the other two packs listed on the back. I believe that one was Kraven and Spiderman and I don't recall the rest.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to check on what was there, but there was the Spider-Man/Vulture set, Spider-Man/Mysterio set and the Sandman/Venom set. No sign of the Spider-Man/Kraven or Venom/Puma sets but I could've missed them. I don't think they were in the trays afterall but I could be wrong on that, too, but there weren't any of the new sets with the trays only on the pegs in the aisle...

Considering how many Spidey villains they've pumped out this year who *hasn't* been made yet?... I can only think of Electro right off-hand... I'm really surprised that they haven't gone into more of Pete's costumes like the Ben Reily outfit or Iron Spider, heck even Spider-Girl and Spider-Man 2099 would be welcome replacements for the over-abundance of black and red Spider-Men...

well I know the Venom/Puma set is out because I have it and have seen it all over. But the Venom/Sandman set is a new sighting as far as I've seen and heard. I know it is part of the SM/Vulture/SM/Kraven wave so I wonder if they just didn't release Kraven or if he was already snatched up by others.

I found a Gambit/Rogue set in the Henryetta Wal-Mart. As Daniel can attest, Henryetta is long past it's prime and is now merely a 2 stoplight town. The WM there is tiny so I was shocked to find the elusive set. It goes to show that just when we think there is no hope you get a surprise from an unexpected source!
