So what has disappointed you the most from the various lines shown?

I hate to say it, but Shocker Toys. The sculpts looked good unpainted, but the beyond crappy paint jobs on the protos coupled with the goofy articulation on the females to me means "no sale."

It's a shame because relations had mended somewhat between the head honchos there and the fans on the 'net.

Peace,

Chip

Shocker is an easy pick; I would actually go with DC Direct - did they have anything new, besides the $100 13" GL reissue? What a bummer.

I figure DCDirect will pull out more stuff later in the week.

The lack of additional DC Mini-Mates is at the top of my list. I really hope that the series isn't dead. I need me some more JSA & Flash characters

It would be a disappointment if Shocker didn't display something crappy that will never see market. They must spend more money on booths than they have in their marketing, R&D and production budget. Of course, they're always good for this: quite possibly the most awkward public event ever.

the fact that we know JLU will not be shown. This is the event we were wating for to see the new stuff. We've known for a while it would not be here, but its still a disappointment.

The lack of DC MiniMates. DC Direct announces stuff so far in advance, the fact that they barely showed anything new didn't disappoint me too much; we know they will be showing stuff throughout the year.

But, DC Direct has stuff publicly announced through September 2008. The last announced DC MiniMates Wave comes out in June 2008. I thought something would be shown for this line, hence my worrying, as it is the only DC Direct line without anything new shown. Even the 1:4 'line' had something new to show.

Mine is a small one, I'm disappointed that the Star Wars Ak-Rev figure doesn't come with the small cymbal/drum thing as well as the big half-drum...

Oh and the price of the Sideshow 12 " joes-- made me make a quick retract on thinking of picking up a few of those

I'm disappointed that the DCD 13" GL is $99. Then again, at least the set got made so that's a good thing.

Well, at first I was most disappointed that LCBH was indeed DOA. Now I'm most disappointed that DC Minimates are possibly over. I guess it's a draw. :(

what about the lack of Marvel Legends? Hasbro seems as lost with the Marvel license as Mattel seems overstuffed with ideas with the DC license.
