Well, color me disappointed. I was hoping that things had improved for this line, but they really haven't.
Good thing, too, since I really can't afford another line with all the friggin' awesome DCUC that Mattel is forcing me to buy this year.

seriously? I think they look 10x better than the protos we saw. The articulation is substandard, but this line looks very fun.
Looks like more for me and Jeff then!

Really? I think they look exactly like the prototypes that were shown at Toy Fair. Like, exactly.
I really wanted to like this line. I really wanted to give them my money.
But I just can't.

I'll admit the figures look better than the original prototypes, but that still doesn't mean they look great. Also, whoever designed the packaging should be looking for a new job. The boxes are about 3 times larger than they need to be. It makes the figures look smaller and much less impressive, not to mention it will take up way too much space on the shelves of those of us who collect moc/mib.

These look way better than the prototypes we saw before. I can't wait for this line to start, Mattel is going to break me this year, but wow!
PS: the first playset for this line should be a Batcave!

I do think these figures look better than what we saw earlier. Or maybe the camera was just further away. In any case, this is becoming a line I'll pick and choose from, instead of being a completist.
Yeah, Mattel's gonna break my piggy bank for sure this year.

The 3 packs are solicited in the new Previews that came out today (MAY08) and mentions a couple new characters: Starfire and Luthor.
I wouldn't take it as official confirmation, being Previews and solicitation info can and does change all the time, but thought it worth mentioning!
The other characters mentioned are: Gotham Police, Flash, Superman, Green Arrow, Hawkman, Flash 2 and Bizarro.
The Supergirl/Bizarro/Wondergirl pack is pictured.

Does the previews listing give an approximate ship date? I can't wait for this line and I'm probably more excited then I should be. The limited articulation doesn't bother me at all and I look forward to such an array of characters.

I think they are supposed to hit the same day as the new JLU, don't quote me on it. LOL. but I think they are supposed to go on sale 8/1.

Starfire to represent the 80's Titans. Wonder Girl and Supergirl to cover the current team of Titans. That is really covering most of the current DCU. Adam Strange and Guy Gardner for outer space. Very cool.
I think this could be the line to fit a handful of Legion members into. Not an attempt to make the entire team. But across several waves, we could get a core team. Start with the ones on the TV show. i'd prefer the costumes based upon the Levitz era. Lightning Lad, Saturn Girl, Timber Wolf, Brainiac 5.
I still think that oddly military looking figure is a Cobra Spy from Hasbro infiltrating the line and Mattel.

...except, if you notice, the IH line is completely modern in scope. All the characters are being done in their current looks. So, if we see any Legion members (and I hope we do, and soon!) they would most like be in whatever costumes they are wearing in the current book.

not sure what the look is right now. Maybe they should wait then until after the Legion of 3 Worlds event this summer and maybe then there will be a definitive look again.

Do Supergirl and Wonder Girl still look like junk? Or are they improved from what we've seen?
