From RTM's May Q&A p2:
Quote: 2. Will there be ball jointed hip articulation in the DC Infinite Heroes line? Greater leg articulation is becoming more and more the norm in figures this scale (GI Joe, many modern Star Wars figures), and a lack of articulation in an action-related line seems like a missed opportunity, much like with the Naruto line.
Answer: The Infinite Heroes will start out with some ball joint hip articulation and will gain more as the line continues.

Nice! Nothing new, yeah, but always good to see again.
Man, I want that Green Arrow/Canary/Hal set bad!
Where on Mattel's site were these?

is it just me or do they look kinda...clunky. They look too bulky and awkward. Stiff and unnatural... And why is Wildcat blue?

They kinda look like they were designed by Alex Ross. Very shinny.

Canary looks bigger than Hal. Is she supposed to be that big? Optical illusion? Also, I thought they said the figures would have ball joint legs and get more articulation over time.
Why do these look like they're from the 70's-80's? They're way behind Marvel Legends Showdown articulation. These don't even match 25th Joe articulation. The price point on these better be incredibly cheap.
And why do all of Mattel's press pictures make their figures look like they're painted in gloss but are (thankfully) never released that way?

Whats going on with Black Canary's chest?? It looks like her shoulders are too high compared to the rest of her body. I like the concept of DC figures in this scale, but the execution seems to leave a lot to be desired.
I think JLU and DCUC are where my money will be going.

These were on the retailer website, they could very well still be in the prototype stage.

Ah. That explains it.
Mattel's consumer website is in serious need of updating. It doesn't even reflect DCSH let alone DCU.

They kinda remind me of Mego's old Pocket Superferoes line from the '70's.
In any case I hope the line does well, but I won't be buying. DCUC is my line.
Now if we could just get some of these guys over there.

So who's excited about the new images? Captain Boomerang, Flash, Mirror Master, Weather Wizard, Reverse Flash... I may just collect the Flash characters from this line. There's already so many good ones in the pipe.
