That's what I thought, although I did vote for Captain Marvel just in case. That interview certainly would seem to indicate the Big Red Cheese was on his way.
As far as Waller, comics or cartoon she's just so deliciously wicked. And the best/worst part is that she absolutely thinks she's doing the right thing. Make mine Waller!

Toy Guru has said on camera that Shazam/Capt Marvel is coming and will be on display at SDCC.I thought this was general knowledge.....link below Boys. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0phNqkbu ... n/?paged=4
Thanks for that. I thought it was a 'highly rumored but unconfirmed' situation.

I'd like a new Creeper, but the Hasbro one was pretty darn good.
Isn't Deadman in the same situation as Lobo? Meaning that he won't be made because DC considers him "too mature" for a (nominal) kid's toy line. At least I remember that reason being put forth at some point.
A shout out to the other seven souls that voted for Roulette. You guys are all sorts of awesome.

OMG that AWESOME!!! I wish that some had known that before the poll, though.

As far as Deadman, I've never heard it come up that he's not allowed. Previously, Charlton characters, Hal and Lobo were the only ones that under no circumstances could or would be made for the JLU line. And now, it's down to just Hal and Lobo.
I'd personally love to see Deadman at some point. Be a very cool addition.

And at some point you just know there will be a translucent repaint-- or maybe a single "with batman disguise.

I would guess that at least part of the reason Shazam/Capt. Marvel only got 12 votes was because some voters had that interview in mind, whereas others may not have seen it.
I would think that if some of the 12 voters knew of it, they wouldn't have voted for him. (That was my rationale, anyway, assuming he was confirmed....I would think that true of others, or surely he'd have ended up much higher on the poll than he did.)

Thanks for the reminder. Working on it now. Yesterday was the g/f's b-day, so I've been distracted.
Peace,
Chip

Okay, my back is killing me, but here are the top vote-getters. I posted the top 15 vote totals, simply because (IMHO) if all these were made, JLU as an action-figure line would be complete in regards to the show.
#1 with 63 votes - CHEETAH
#2 with 53 votes - MR. TERRIFIC
#3 with 44 votes - S.T.R.I.P.E.
#4 with 42 votes - TOYMAN
#5 with 36 votes - DEVIL RAY
#6 with 34 votes - KILLER FROST
#7 with 31 votes - KALIBAK
#8 with 30 votes - CAPTAIN COLD
#9 with 28 votes - TALA
#10 with 24 votes - SUPERGIRL (red & blue costume, new sculpt)
#11 with 22 votes - HOURMAN, GRANNY GOODNESS, MONGUL
#12 with 21 votes - VANDAL SAVAGE, AMANDA WALLER, GYPSY
#13 with 20 votes - DR. MID-NITE
#14 with 19 votes - BATMAN BEYOND, CRIMSON AVENGER, CAPTAIN BOOMERANG, DEADMAN
#15 with 16 votes - CRIMSON FOX, CIRCE, SHAZAM
Peace,
Chip

I'm quite certain Cheetah will be shown at SDCC.
Peace,
Chip

Chip,
My thanks once again for doing the real work here. All I did was set this up, post that we were running it in a few places and complain that people were not voting. Also, my thanks to Superfly for the cool banner and to Vader for putting the banner link on the front page.
For those who are wondering, here's what will happen next, when I get around to it.
[s]1. The vote tallies will be copied and moved to the 1st post, especially the TOP TEN so they can be easily found.[/s]
2. Pictures of the top vote getters will be found on the net and added. This would be done already, but when I went to Worlds Finest to get them, there were some issues with their site.
3. Chip - yes Chip, I am giving you an "Action Item" as they call them at work - to blog about the most needed characters in this line in terms of the show. You did promise.
[s]4. Add a link in the first post to the votes for the poll.[/s]
[s]5. This will replace the poll in the stickied section of the Mattel forum.[/s]
[s]6. Add link to this post in the "announcement" post with all the links to the polls at the top of the Mattel forum.[/s]
7. Get Dan/Julius Marx to officially send the results to Mattel.
