Ok, usually I customize only DCAU characters (I've been tackling the entire Kirby Universe for the past year), but with the latest Indy Jones movie (love it or hate it), I really wanted to tackle something ambitious: my own fan-fiction concerning the character. I titled my story, Indiana Jones and the Simian Sanctuary, and put a decent amount of research into the story’s setting, antagonists, and relics. So a lot of my story is legit, BUT I know there will be people that will nitpick and even bigger Indy fans that will say certain things would never happen and what about this and that----but it’s all fun. I had fun making it, and that’s all that counts. I’m not going to change anything, I’m done, lol! Here’s a brief synopsis:
The year is 1948 (last recorded adventure was 1947, and Crystal Skull is 1957, and
Henry Jones, Sr., dies in 1951).
There’s a Wan-Zega mask in Africa believed to have the powers to communicate with and resurrect the dead. Somehow, this mask is stolen from an African tribe called the Mossi, and taken to another area of Africa where the tribe known only as the Fang rule the jungles. Surviving, in-hiding, out-of-luck and disguised Nazis, under the command of Colonel DIETFRIED, want this because they want to resurrect Dr. Paul Joseph Goebbels to reunite Germany, re-establish German glory, and ensure global-Nazi-rule. Another catch: whoever wears the mask and whoever is initiated into the mask-wearer’s club understand the language (code) spoken between one another.
Indy is approached back in the states to recover the Wan-Zega Mossi mask from the FANG (believed to be holding it), and for a fair amount of money, bring it back to the states to be in a museum. Indy at first refuses, due to his father’s failing health, but Henry Jones convinces Indy to go. All Indy wants is for the Mossi mask to be in a museum, but the offered compensation helps.
Indy asks Sallah for help, and they meet up in PORTO-NOVO, AFRICA. Indy finds a nice knife in the jungle and straps it on his belt….but later on, on a land from a jump, he cuts his leg and vows never to carry another knife again (hence having to borrow a knife in Crystal Skull). Unfortunately, in-hiding Nazis are after the mask, as well, and are disguised as French Armée (the French occupy this section of Southern Africa at this time).
Adventurous cat-and-mouse games ensue as Indy races the now-out-of-retirement-Nazis to get the mask from the fearless FANG tribe. Indy wonders why, at first, the French want the mask so badly, and wishes he could contact someone who could find out. But eventually, the “French Arméeâ€

That is impressive! Great use of the WWE figures, too (I've been looking at Mr. Kennedy for some time now and never considered him for an Indy custom -- you've inspired me!). You should post this over at the Well of the Souls forums...

Superfly: thanks! you can play with it...for five bucks per 30 minutes. you must supply your own action figures, however, with the exception of the affixed "tortured captive".
Glassman: as always, thanks, pal!
Casimir: being dubbed "brilliant" from you is an honor.
Jim_Abell: thanks for the direction to this forum...wow, there's so much on there! i'm going there now! thanks!
