I'm not sure if anyone here is going to be able to help with this but you never know, we have some pretty smart folks here. So here's my problem...

I bought an original 2G iPhone from my friends dad in August. I unlocked it for use on T-Mobile, signed up for the 5.99 tzones plan, ran the tzones hack and had my phone up and running with the internet.

My brother bought one from our friend today. I don't really pay attention to anything T-Mobile does so I didn't know they had changed up their internet plans. The 5.99 tzones plan is long gone and in it's place are a number of other more expensive options. The tzones hack is also gone from Cydia (the unlocked version of the App Store basically). So I got his phone unlocked and running on T-Mobile but I have no idea how to get his internet going. I've been searching boards for about an hour but I'm exhausted and not coming up with anything definite.

So does anyone know how to get internet running on an unlocked iPhone for T-Mobile now? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Maybe you can use the built-in wifi and connect using a different network?

The wifi works fine, it's the edge network I was trying to get running for him.
