With all of the leaks we've had recently in regards to unannounced JLU figures and with ToyFair 2009 and NYCC2009 passing showing upcoming JLU figures, I'm a little surprised that we haven't seen FIRESTORM yet.

I mean this little teaser was shown last SDCC:

And we've already seen the prototype of Plastic Man.
I'm hoping that SDCC 09 finally reveals his figure.

I hope to see him soon too. I didn't care much for the character but I really love the DCUC figure.

We'll definitely see him in July at the summer show.

I think so too, especially since we've already seen Plastic Man and the other Superfriends characters.

I asked Toy Guru (Scott) about Firestorm's absense from the NYCC 2009 lineup. Scott was well aware of that slide and gave me the impression - although not directly saying it - that Firestorm was on the schedule, just not quite yet.

Superfriends character. Super Powers line. DCUC figure. Member of JLA Satellite era. 100 issues of his own comic. Yeah, he's got the recognition. Lack of appearance on the JLU show highly discussed.

I see him as inevitable.

See now I'm all used to these ebay reveals, when I saw this thread I fully expected to open it up and see a JLU Firestorm figure. Now I'm sad :(

Sorry Kev. I was actually trying to avoid that people thought I was going to mention finding a JLU Firestorm prototype or something. I should have put a question mark in the Thread Title.

I just fixed the title with a question mark. Thanks capedcrusader

[Mods - Can you please fix the title of my thread with a question mark at the end? Thanks.

You should be able to do that yourself if you just click the "edit" button up there in your original post. Just look above all the bold, italic, underline, quote, and etc. buttons, and you can edit the subject line.

THe other interesting Firestorm omission also occurred at SDCC08...During the Brave and Bold panel, there was an animated picture of FIrestorm from the BnB cartoon...but we have not seen any other appearances of him since that slide...

I'm wondering if his episode got scrapped???

This is a bit on topic, I remember when they first announced JLU they mentioned Firestorm was going to be a part of the team but he never showed up in the show as we all know.

Jesterboy- During the Mattel panel at SDCC 08, they showed a few slides of the BnB toys that were coming out...on one of the slides there were animated previews of some of the characters and there was an animated Firestorm shown...I THINK it was Jamie but I could be wrong. ANyway, like I was saying, we have to the best of my knowledge seen him any other place...

Keep in mind this was NOT a picture of a FIrestorm ACTION FIGURE, it was simply an animated rendering of what he would look like on the show...

Umm...biggest "oops" I see with this is that Jamie is Blue Beetle, NOT Firestorm. Firestorm is either Ronnie (classic) or Jason (modern). If it was either of those, I would love to see a pic from that slide show, I missed it.

Biggest "oops" I see with this is that Ted is (and always will be) Blue Beetle and Ronnie is (and always will be) Firestorm.

NOT those other posers.

:D

Peace,

Chip
