I do think Superman will show up in one of those 2 minute intro cameos the cartoon does at the beginning.

When the crew was doing the initial publicity for the show James Tucker said that he wanted to stay away from Superman and Wonder Woman, at least at the beginning. He also said something about believing that Superman did not appear in the original B&TB comic until the last issue and he was considering that for the cartoon as well... When they get around to Superman, I kind of hope they go with a Golden Age/Max Fleisher look for him -- red "S", black triangle behind it bordered in yellow... Would be a neat way to change him up for the show...

Yes! I like that idea for Supes. Throw in an old school mad scientist look for Luthor and we have a winner for an episode.

While I would love to continue talking about the show (and I have in the thread I started in that forum) I'm kinda curious if anyone has spotted any of the singles in their local Brick n mortars? I've seen them listed on Amazon at about $10 a piece and I'm paying that for a single.

I haven't heard of any store sightings on those. I believe TGF Toys still has them in stock for $4.99

I found the singles at Shopko here in the widwest. No vehicles, deluxe, or 2 packs, they just had the singles $4.99.

I love the answer to the Action League question in AFI's Mattel Q&A:
Mattel wrote: We will get to females in the Action League minis
Awesome!

So, let the guessing begin ...
Who will be the first female?
My vote will be for the Huntress (or maybe 'Tina since we already know that the Metal Men are on their way), but I would love to see Katana (and the rest of the Outsiders to go with her ...
Yay!

I like this line even more with the announcement of female characters.
I guess I'll buy some of those vehicles after all!

I really want the Aparo Outsiders version of Katana, but I also dig the design they used for this show. Both please!
I want this line to go crazy with character selection. Pump em' out!

I look at this line (and for some of you out there I will include the Hasbro offerings in this style) and can't help but think of how I used to feel as a kid when I was collecting M.U.S.C.L.E. figurines.
I so desperately wanted them all, traded with friends in the cafeteria at school, staged outrageous battles that always ended with a bowling ball ....
Happy days are here again ...

A bowling ball?! That must have been quite the battle. Now I miss my M.U.S.C.L.E.S.
