hi
i'm a batman toy collector interested in 2 of the jakks playsets for display purposes
one is a lockroom, includes many lockers, i think a toilet, tables maybe
i'm looking for the exact name of this so i can search for it
another one, i think backstage something or other?
it is like a loading dock?
any help here would be greatly appreciated looking for the exact names of these playsets (and if u know any others appropriate)
batman display sets
fighting some criminal in a lockerroom
stoping a drug deal on loading docks
thanks!!!

Try wrestling playset or wrestling accessory/accessories. Even so, the stuff has gotten much harder to find than it was even a year ago. There used to be plenty of sellers who almost specialized in wrestling accessories but most of them have dried up or have very limited stock, none of the "good" stuff to be had on a regular basis anymore...

there is a playset on ebay listed as hall of pain
http://cgi.ebay.com/WWE-Jakks-Hall-of-P ... 56368eae6a
looks just like the backstage brawl playset you linked
the set is complete missing a ramp
thinking maybe i should go for it
i'm not really sure what i'm loooking at in the auction
will the "missing ramp" effect display/playability?
where is the missing ramp? entrance, connecting 2 sides of the playset?
and i'm really curious what the locker room's playset name is...haven't found it cept once incomplete and i passed on it

The ramp goes from the platform with the roll-up door down to the cardboard floor (what the oil drums are sitting on). It's there so that the drums can fall from the pipe rack to the left of the roll-up door across the platform and then down to the "floor" to crash through the exit door at the other end. If the connectors are too obvious without the ramp (mine is in storage so I can't check) they shouldn't be that hard to hide.
If you can get that cheap you really should, those things are tough to come by, especially that complete.

No. They are not the same. The second one has plastic walls. The blue section of wall next to the exit door is supposed to have a break-away section in it (to crash into the toilet on the other side) and there is supposed to be a monitor (it was break-away, too, I believe) where that black square is in the middle of the wall. The cabinet for the fire hose opens with a short hose in there and the set has a sound chip with several different sounds for different actions (fire alarm, toilet flushing, exit alarm, probably a crashing wall). The other side of the set has the toilet stall and (I think) a few lockers -- been a long time since I've seen that set in the stores. The thing with Jakks is that they re-colored, re-used and re-configured the sets quite often so it's hard to say exactly what came with what without a box (though I'm pretty sure that particular set did come with a break-away bench like the guy is including in that auction). Realy wish there was a site that cataloged the WWF/E stuff that Jakks has done like Rebelscum does with Star Wars or YoJoe.com with GI Joe. I've found a few sites that are good with archiving the figures but nothing (yet) for the playsets or accessories. The most common things that you will find are going to be the pieces included with the figures (tables, ladders, chairs, benches, garbage cans). The stuff from the playsets and accessory packs are going to be the toughest (or, I should say, most expensive) -- phone booth, dumpster, dog house, hot dog cart...

the reason i'm so confused is this
you linked me to a tru site with a backstage brawl playset
it is exactly the same as the ebay auction (repaint, as you said) labelled as hall of pain is DEFINATELY the same as backstage brawl (both have that spring door, or what not)
then...a diff ebay one pops up labelled backstage brawl.........but is different
i went ahead and bought it (and bid high on the other so i will proobbly win it)
i guess i'll find out when i get them, hopefully i wont be disappointed, still wanting details on lockerroom playset, i saw it on ebay once, should've bought it, what is it called, what is it?
thanks
i gave up on restaurant playset, i thought it might be good for my batman mob (dick tracy villains), kind of like itlian mafia, hanging out in italian restaurants (the playset has the nice red/white plad italian mobster restaurant look to it, but is small, no tables, no chairs, and is dirty)
anyway
lockerroom help me out!
i saw one once and want to get one, just dont know what its called!

That one with the hole in the wall is definately a different set than the one with the barrels, you'll see the difference when they're in hand. Jakks repackaged so much stuff it's hard to keep track of the names and if the seller has them loose they won't always know the proper name. There was another set, not sure if it was called "locker room" but it was a weight training room with a speed bag, heavy bag, weight bench, exercise bike and the like. Been looking for one on-and-off and never seen it show up, *but* I don't know the proper name and I don't search for it on any sort of regular basis.
