It wouldn't hurt to see the MU figures going for $6.99, either. That's as fair as it gets for me and part of the reason why I cherry-pick most characters. Thanks Lt. Clutch. I'm with you in that i only pick and choose the MU figures but I'm having a hard time resisting the Iron Man ones. I think I'll start off with War Machine or the Stealth Armor one. Yeah with the MU I have a handful (Captain America (Bucky), Moon Knight, Blade, Punisher v. 2, Iron Man the first release) The first IM in MU seems hollow..

I found the comic series Crimson Dynamo today! The figure is absolutely amazing in my opinion, great sculpt, paint, and some nice, sturdy limbs. Another excellent figure in the line!
I've noticed that the comic series figures seem to be spread a little thin. This particular Target had only one Crimson Dynamo, one War Machine, and two of the other three comic series figures.

Well with the Target reset it looks like they put out at least 3 cases worth of the comic book wave-- although these figures seem to be better made and look better-- there are just so many of them (and lets face it look very similiar to each other) that they will definitely be hitting the clearance aisles at the end of the year.

Iron Man 2 is officially headed our way and with it is coming so many great toys. I always loved Crimson Dynamo as a kid, and he remains one of my favorite characters. I was really glad to see that Hasbro finally included a version of him I could be proud to own. He does have a few flaws that set him back from being a "perfect" figure though. I break it all down in my latest review. Check it out over at Infinite Hollywood! Infinite Hollywood: Crimson Dynamo Figure Review Thanks for reading, true believers.

Great Review Maniac. I saw this one today it is a neat figure. I dont know maybe its just me but I think DC paid a little homage to the Crimson Dynamo when they created the Rocket Red Armors.

@Nitewing73: I wouldn't be surprised if there was a connection between Crimson Dynamo and the Rocket Red Brigade. Marvel and DC have always bounced ideas off each other and shared the same creators on many books. Steve Englehart and Joe Staton created the Rocket Red concept but I'm not sure if Steve had earlier worked on the Dynamos while over at Marvel. Inspiration, perhaps? @MJ: I love this figure. Having a removable helmet would have been the icing on the cake. I think Hasbro could have easily given it a shot. Here's a page with lots of info on Dmitri Bukharin and links to all the various Crimson Dynamo bios: http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix3/crimsondynamodmitri.htmCheck it out, it's good stuff.

So I purchased my first Iron Man figure. Its the comic series War Machine. I saw the movie War Machine at TRU and that was very cool.
The thing about the War Machine armors they would look cool with my Joes. I believe the comic series Stealth Iron Man will be joining my display shortly.

At Walmart early this evening, and found the movie war machines, and wondering why there are two versions? One with red eyes and red reactor, and then one with blue eyes and blue reactor.

Other than War Machine, the movie figures were kind of bleh. Was a bit disappointed once I saw #8-#13. Here's hoping for some more inspired designs in the next movie wave.
BTW you can't mistake the movie version from the comic version once you take a moment to study them side by side. I don't think they share ANY parts, which kind of surprised me.

yes, I am sure, since I have both comic and movie version.
I bought the red reactor red eyes version, due to the bad paint job on the blue one. Will take some pics later to compare.

Here is the image of both War Machines. One in blue (blue eyes & blue reactor) and one in red (red eyes and red reactor).

So far I have only seen the blue version. But War Machine and Iron Monger are pretty hard to find around here right now.

All the great reviews convinced me to buy Crimson Dynamo today. I also liked Hypervelocity IM so I got him as well.

Got the three comic series IM2 figures in today along with MU Modern Thor. Lousy QC on the IM figures though. Classic IM had a bad paint job on his face, Stealth IM has a thumbprint/smear on one thigh, and War Machine has a nasty melt mark in his armor. I'm going to trade or return them next week.
