The Neo-Classic armor is the one Tony built at the conclusion of the first Armor Wars.

It's my favorite armor and I am still bummed to this day that it never got the Marvel Legends treatment.

Up to now. it's only been in plastic form once (Superhero Showdown line).

And I'll take my Blacklash black and purple please. Ponytail and all. :D

Thanks for the checklist, Noisy!

Man, those guys are detailed. Personally I would've lumped armors #4-9 into "classic".

And except for the "Thorbuster" armor, I've never even heard of 25-32.

If you're talking about the one below, they've done it in the Superhero Squad line as well.

That armor was so sweet looking, especially with the shoulder caps instead of the shoulder wings.

I try not to look at the Superhero Squad line. It hurts my head.

Wolvie with a smiley face is just not right!

Easily my favorite armor after the Classic Red & Blue. I was sorry to see it go in the mid-90's without much fanfare. It deserved a nice send-off, much like the one Silver Centurion received. 8)

I'm partial to the Silver Centurion armor myself Lt. Clutch. Probably because the first Marvel title I started to collect was West Coast Avengers and that was the armor Iron Man was wearing at the time when they started out. I can' wait to see that figure.

Thanks for all the help everybody! It's much appreciated. I've been trying to avoid this scale since my 6" collection is dominant, but doing these checklists is sucking me in...

I found a really scuffed up FA Iron Man and I had to have him. I ended up pretty happy with how the hip artic worked out too!:

I just posted about this over at The Figure Realm, but this forum seems a lot more active.

I have fifteen Iron Man 2 figures so far: 1 through 10, 12, 22, 23, 25, and 26.

Of the remaining ones that are out I only need 11, 13, and 24.

Thanks for the checklist Noisy, I was looking for 14 (Ivan "Whiplash" Vanko), 15 (Fusion Armor), and 29 (Titanium Man) in stores because the way the Wikipedia checklist is it makes them seem like they've already been released.

Those and the other figures that have yet to be released are in my opinion the most interesting. Nick Fury, the tactical assault drone, Black Widow, Iron Man and War Machine unmasked, etc. Normal Iron Man is cool and all, but I'm glad we're getting some figures in the line that aren't just more variations of Iron Man's armor.

My favorite figures so far from a purely aesthetic standpoint are 23 (comic series War Machine), and 1 (movie series Iron Man Mark 1 armor). The comic series Iron Man also looks pretty good.

My least favorite figures are 9 (Mark IV) and 10 (Mark VI) because they're the same exact figure except one has a circle on it's chest and the other a triangle.

If I were a kid and actually playing with these, I'd probably like 8 (Mark VI power-up glow) and 3 (flip-up armor), in addition to the deluxe Armor Tech figures the best.

The Red Vortex vehicle I'm not too impressed with either. It seems too generic, just a race car. I like the looks of the Rolling Battle Headquarters much better.

I like armor variations as much as the next guy, but I agree with you. Time to get some more different characters.

Anybody know when wave 2 of these is going to hit? Or would that be wave 3?

To add to the review fun, I've got my review up of Iron Monger over at the site. I think this is still a decent buy even if you have the larger, old Monger, but you can check out the comparisons and decide for yourself. I've bought a ton of the Mongers for various reasons in the last year or so.

I have a sneaking suspicion from the second trailer that Whiplash is gonna end up with a Mark II-type upgrade in full armor form. Can't wait to see it and the toy that will be based on it.

Any chance of Gigantic Battles with Iron Man and Ultimo, though?
