Thanks a bunch guys :0)
Fatherhood has been pretty stressful for us so far - we're pretty sure that Zoe has either cholic or acid reflux and being that this our first really close-up experience with a baby, it's been pretty frazzling. Still... amazing all around. All the stress is totally worth it when you get that big smile first thing in the morning :0)

My daughter likes punching me in the nads.... consider yourself lucky Pierre All kidding aside, having kids is the greatest and most exasperating thing you will do in your life. Just wait till your daughter hits her 4's and she asks the same question over, and over, and over again. Even after you answered it the first time. I know what your saying... Matt, you are a jerk. But wait.... you'll find out soon enough. You'll want to pull your hair out:)

Thanks again for all the kind words guys. Matt - Zoe isn't yet at the nut-punching stage, but she's got little claws for nails and just loves to rake them across any exposed area of skin. She also has either colic or acid reflux, or a combination of the two. It's bananas... getting better, but bananas.
Anyway, customizing has become my "escape" from the madness. So, I'm taking customs that have been close to done and finishing them. So, Tyr:
Head: DCUC Red Tornado
Body: DCUC Black Manta
Left arm: DCUC Orion
Right arm: MotU 200x Trap-Jaw
Legs: DCUC Black Manta

Man, your TYR is awesome....after seeing it I ran to my Super Powers collection and squeezed my vintage Tyr's legs.
For those of you that think that's a sick comment, you don't know Super Powers

Another update (and now that I've dug my post out of the nether regions of the AFI depth, I'll add the 4in in here as well). JLU Old-School Bane - I took some shortcuts on this one (ie - no raised detail) as I really just wanted to finish something - this custom was started at least a year ago and wrapping it up became more important to me than making it as good as it could be. And here's the turnaround: I keep thinking I'm working my way out of JLU customizing, but then I'll get the itch again. ....

Just consolidating from my numerous posts: Snake Eyes v4. Strangely I was never a fan back in the day, but so some really nice customs of this guy and decided to make my own. The parts breakdown is as follows: Snake Eyes: v1 Upper Body: Hard Master Lower Body: General Hawk Upper Arms: Ripper Lower Arms: Viper v1 Upper Legs: Storm Shadow v1 Lower Legs: Hard Master Feet: Snake Eyes v2 Web gear: Cobra Officer Since I'm a collector of carded figures, I also decided to make a custom card for this figure. The bubble is adhered to the cardback using Weldbond which dries 100% clear. Thanks for looking! ....

Hello again! I just wrapped up a Ghost from CoD4 Modern Warfare custom to go along with the rest of my Joes. Here's the parts breakdown: Head: Beachhead Body: Gen. Hawk Arms: Gen Hawk Hands: Desert Ambush Duke (RoC) Upper Legs: Gen Hawk Lower Legs: v1 Duke I added the headgear and glasses to the head, the scarf is from Resolute Pilot (?) Destro and the webgear is cobbled together from the accessories of Resolute Duke, v1 Roadblock and some other figure I can't remember. Here he is carded (front and back): The card art was a photoshop mishmash of stuff I could grab online and existing Joe card art along with some PS tweaking. And here's the turnaround of the figure: Thanks for looking, hope you guys dig it. ....

I know what you mean about JLU customizing. Every time I think I'm done with it...

Pierre thats a fantastic Bane! I know what you mean about the raised details, I prefer them too but sometimes I just want to finish the damn figure!!!. Anyhow, the painted on details don't hurt the figure here, they look perfect, great work again!
