ToyFare's solicitation in the newest Previews has a cover story on the upcoming line of Arkham Asylum (video game) figures coming from DC Direct! At last!

I can't get excited because I still have the game sitting on my TV stand, shrink-wrapped

TRD open and PLAY the game. I promise that you'll really get into it once you start playing. I was blown away at how fast I got sucked into the story. There were some minor changes I would have made, but it's a still a great game

I'd definitely get Ivy and Harley if they look just like they do in the game.

This is a bit too much of a niche product for me and most likely an easy pass (I say that now but then I will walk into the LCS and pick one up ... ).

If these are vanilla posed figures they will be the first DC Direct figures that will interst me since the DCUC line started. I might actually have to purchase them.

Any updates on this line? Were there pics of the figures in Toyfare, or do we have to wait for SDCC to see anything?

Aww... no Poison Ivy in the wave? Well hopefully these sell well enough to encourage DCD to make a 2nd wave. Who else would be left to make for wave 2 in addition to Poison Ivy?

Thanks for the picture, Mainman; those look nice! Scarface was something I wasn't expecting.

Other than Poison Ivy for a second set, Mr. Zsasz, Bane, and Killer Croc were the only other characters to actually show up in the game (with The Riddler only in voiceover).

Bane and Croc would be big chunks of plastic, that's for sure.

Since these don't come out until January 2011, I would imagine series 2 would include characters from the upcoming sequel. Two-Face and Mr. Freeze are rumored to be in that one.
