Yup. Revealed in the new ToyFare.
That awesome, giant Galactus figure shown at SDCC last year? SDCC exclusive this year!
Wow...the toy gods are trying to punish me for not going to the con this year!
There's pix of the blister card (yup, GIANT blister card) and the 'suitcase' carrying case in the mag. It's awesome and certainly the center piece of any MU collection. Thank goodness Hasbro puts their exclusives up on HTS!

Darn. I thought this was going to be a store exclusive. I wonder what happened, or who changed their mind? My fear is the cost, which was already around $50, right? Did they mention whether things have changed? Wasn't it supposed to have lights and sounds? Does the Silver Surfer still come with it?

That would be cool if it came with the Silver Surfer. I don't know why, but these have always been one of my favorite characters, along with Black Panther and Hawkeye

Has it been confirmed that the only way to get this will be as a SDCC exclusive and online? On ActionFigurePics today there was speculation that the retail version would still happen.

This particular packaging of it is exclusive to SDCC. It's on a card like the rest of MU figures. A boxed version with Silver Surfer is coming out to retail later.

I've always got the impression the retail boxed version is supposed to be a Fall 2010 item for Christmas time. I'm guessing Sept. or Oct.

If this thing is showing up at SDCC, I'll bet we see it in June/Early July at retail. Much like when the Foom wave popped up early in 08.

Except the Foom wave already had space accounted for it at retail since Marvel Legends were still being stocked at that time. There will have to be a whole new facing added into the old plan-o-grams for Galactus. It could happen but expensive stuff like that usually get held back until closer to the holiday buying season.
