email I got from a friend of mine who is NOT on any toy board that I know of
"I successfully got Keldor AND Lobo -- provided all goes well at Matty's end. Awesome!
I did it in two separate processes knowing that DCU figures don't sell out as fast."

p.s
I did my part earlier and actually did order 5

They should have started this with the plan of giving us Lobo, STRIPE and Kalibak and if those don't do well then cut the program but unfortunately they did not.
I do think he'll sell out within a week or so though.

Everything is "almost gone" except for Lobo and the DCUC boxed set. This could be our last chance for JLU on Mattycollector if Lobo doesn't sell out quickly.

Personally, I think that's great, it bodes well for future "big" figures.

Just refreshed their page and..... LOBO IS SOLD OUT!!!!
Only took a little over 4 hours. That's a hell of a lot faster than any previous JLU exclusive. It better be good enough for Mattel to offer more in the future. Bring on Kalibak and S.T.R.I.P.E.!

Tried to order Lobo starting at 4:15pm. Forgot he went on sale today. It kept telling me my cart was empty. 4:20pm Lobo sold out.

Sold out in one day and faster than a re-issue MOTUC figure. NICE!

So much for people thinking he was going to rot for over two weeks. And so much for people making fun of people for thinking he was going to sell out relatively quickly.

Lobo is indeed sold out! I hope everyone was able to get one.
This is great news for the future of JLU on the website. A successful sale like this should mean that Mattel will consider selling more figures on MattCollector.

Well, 4 hours is not 4 minutes, and some people WERE predicting he'd sell out in that time. He's not a MOTUC and would never sell out THAT fast. 4 hours is pretty good though. I'm sure it will secure the future of online JLU exclusives for now.
