Saw the pics on TNI...new, non-Minimate, Battle Beasts!

They look big....I'm wondering what the scale is? Knowing DST, probably 6"....

Dying for more info on these!

I finally saw them. That octo-man is MINE! Are they figures or statues, though? Hard to tell.

They're about 4" tall.... and they're not official yet.

They're just showing them and "testing the waters."

I was very impressed by the crocodile mini-mate BattleBeast they had at the other Cons.

It wouldn't be the end of the world if mini-mates were the only BB's out there.

I'll most likely pass on these though. If they were Action League scale I would be all over them but I just don't have the room or money for another 4" line right now ....

There are also new 3 versions of the lizard BattleBeast Minimate DST has been handing out at shows- Silver armor, gold armor and black.

I thought these looked really really cool. I also made a point to discuss how cool they were with the dudes in the booth.

You couldn't just buy the Battle Beast minimates, they only came free with a purchase. I would have bought a few if I could have.

As much as I love these (especially the rhino)-- I hope they dont pan out---

I collect to many other lines and I would prefer not to start another--

If someone is going to have to do anthropomorphic animals-- give me some Captain Carrot figures.

Any update on these at Toy Fair this year?

I'm really interested in mini-mate Battle Beasts, and I wish they'd just pull the trigger on the line and start churning 'em out.

Hey everybody! I had a brief chat with Diamond Select today and they told me that the Minimates Battle Beasts line is NOT dead yet! No new products were shown, but apparently the concept still has some life in it. More as I can find it!

For the curious, no promotional Minimates were distributed at Toy Fair 2011.
