I just realized we have separate MOTUC topics, but not a single, generic discussion thread for the line. So here it is. Updated schedule: * March: Kobra Kahn * April: Thunder Punch He-Man with mini comic # 1 * April: Draego-Man * May: Slush Head * May: Stinkor * May: The Mighty Spector * May: Snake Mountain Stands * June: Horde Prime * June: Snake Man-At-Arm * June: Griffin * July: Spikor * August: Sir Laser Lot * Snake Men 2-Pack * Weapon Pak #3 * SDCC Figure * September: Frosta * Monthly figures TBA ItsAllTrue has a great visual checklist here: http://www.itsalltrue.net/?page_id=9102

I'm ordering Whiplash, Buzzoff, Gy-gor, and Grizzlor IF Matty is kind enough to allow me to do so. Really wanted to get King Hiss, but I was hoping for more of a 200x version, not classic. So I'm 0 for 3 for 2011. I'm a villain guy. I've always like Cobra and the Decepticons more than the Joes and Autobots. The same is true of MOTU save for the occasional good guy I think looks REALLY cool.

My current top wants would be:
Clawful Stinkor Squeeze Tonguelasher Catra Ninjor (I think that's the name) Cobra-khan Modulok (I can dream, right) Two-Bad THe Scorpion Bad Chick from She-ra The Octopus Bad Chick from She-ra
Like I said, I likes me the bad guys.

I have subs for 2010 and 2011 so I'm covered on that part.

I got the sub, but most of the announced characters do nothing for me. Gy-Gor and Shadowbeast in particular since they are larger sized and thus, more expensive. I'd rather have seen Panthor first. Guys like Vikor, at least I can use him as a Conan stand-in. So he's got some possibilities.
Subs are the only way out of the dreaded monthly Matty High Noon unless you have a hook-up. I can see them being great for MOTU completists but not for someone like me with more limited interest in the franchise. And it's not just MOTU, I am the same about Joes, Transformers, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Marvel/DC.

I would've rather they leaned more toward the 200x design for King Hsss also. The same goes for Buzz-off, but to a lesser degree, because I think they did a great job on him.
The Preternia He-man was a huge letdown in my opinion. I have the sub, but I'm not excited about him at all. I'm interested in seeing what the lineup is for March-December 2011.

Well, unless things have moved around we know that The Faceless One is May and Swiftwind will be coming in the fall/winter.
Where does the weapon pak fall again?... Was any date given with the weapon rack?

Man, between the MOTUC and JLU offerings, November and December are going to be expensive months. Am I incorrect in thinking that both the Palace Guards and the Parademons are being released on the same day? I was already going to be ordering at least 6 of the Parademons...my wallet aches with the thought.
But boy am I excited to have gotten in on the 2011 subscription. I started on this line late, but once I get the King Grayskull and Trapjaw rereleases I'll be all caught up. What a great series!

Nothing could have been worse than mattycollector's June sale with She-Ra, Keldor, Re-Issue Faker, DCUC Wave 5, JLU Lobo, and Ghostbusters Peter Venkman. That will go down still as the worst month for mattycollector collector's wise.

I was disappointed that Catra wasn't shown at the con - and that it'll be 9 months of no female figures in the line from She-Ra released this June - to IF Catra or another female figure is released in April. BOO.

Mattel as a whole was pretty misogynistic with the reveals this year. LOSH 12-pack (1 female, really?!?), DCUC (2 females from wave 14-16) and JLU (only 2, with one being a repaint). As far a MOTUC goes, Catra is a must, and I'm flat out shocked that we haven't seen the Sorceress yet.

Catra is a must, but as we've heard, they have a 7 year plan (I believe that's what I read) for the line, and you'd better believe they'll make every random MOTU figure again that they can before they give us the full cast of She-Ra figures. I'm not expecting much more than She-Ra, Adora, Bow, Frosta, Glimmer, Hordak, Grizzlor, Mantenna, Leech, Catra and Swiftwind. And we've already seen five of those, with the horsie on it's way. Quote: THe Scorpion Bad Chick from She-ra The Octopus Bad Chick from She-ra LOL - nice nicknames. Sadly because Scorpia and Octavia (and Weaver) were never made in toy form and were created by Filmation, it's possible we'll never seen them in this line. At least, that's what Mattel keeps saying... *looks at Adora suspiciously*

If they can make Wundar they can made Scorpia and Octavia! Of course, at the rate they are making women, they may never get to them.
