Just got an e-mail from BBTS that the Tarot:Witch of the Black Rose set has been cancelled. I wasn't sure I really wanted it anyway, but it sucks for the people that did.

Now that the Modern X-Force Box Set has been solicited, anybody know what happened to Fantomex? Maybe he'll be in a companion set for TRU? Also, I found the Vehicle sets at TRU, and of course my alternator went out the next day. Have to pick them up down the road, but they looked sweet!

I want the MAX Stealth Jet, but it just hasn't moved up in my list of prioritiy purchases yet (I have a $5 TRU coupon going toward s Retro-Heroes Lex Luthor!).

The Delorean is cool, but it looks oddly enough like my daughter's pink Polly Pocket SUV!

Not much going on here lately. I grabbed the MAX Stealth Jet from TRU last week, but haven't opened it yet. I occasionally see the Delorean and the MAX Stealth Jets aren't rare, but that Terminator Hunter/Exoskeleton is backing up on the pegs; I think the Terminator as a good license is on the down side right now. Waaaaaay on the downside.

Did anyone get the TRU Ghostbusters "We're Ready To Believe You" Set? I haven't yet. TRU has it for $21.24 shipped after taxes, BBTS has it for $22.99 with no additional charges if added to my Pile of Loot. I am debating on just paying the extra $1.75 at BBTS and getting better packing of it to boot!

Anyone planning on getting the Universal Monsters Minimates?

I have yet to see a MM Delorian anywhere by me. I see the jet and the terminator a few times.

Yeah... I think I'll end up with the Universal Monsters.

The newest wave of TRU mini-mates have hit (the Fantastic Four series). I picked up Sue and Mole-man, but passed on Namor/Atlantean. They did a very nice job with Sue IMO.

Also saw the Classic Monsters (not sure why so many Black Lagoon creatures).

Cool! I will have to see the Universal Monsters in person to decide whether to get any, so it's nice to know they are hitting. and the FF Wave too, which I will hopefully find tomorrow or this weekend while I have coupons. Looking forward to updated FF Minimates!

BBTS has the NYCC Age of Apocalypse set up for Preorder. This is the one with Apocalypse, Dark Beast, Jean Grey and Weapon X.

http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=DMC11489&mode=retail

And after reading Jeff Cope's blog on the front page http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/blog/?p=4749, I can't wait to see the new M.A.X. 2-Packs or the Universal Monsters. It's like a Minimate Christmas!

I hope BBTS puts up the AFX NYCC 2010 New Mutants Set. I don't really care about the Age of Apocalypse, but I want that NM Set!

I found & purchased the TRU Fantastic Four Set yesterday. One store only had the Reed/Doom and Thing/Human Torch sets left, TRU #2 have at least two of them all. Using my $5 coupon at one store and a 20% Off Coupon at another, I paid about $6 for each set :D None of these are repeated in Marvel Wave 37, right? Only The Thing and one has him in is panties, and the other has full pants. The Atlantean Warrior is cool, but I don't need two Namors. They should have saved this for a Specialty Shop set and had a variant Namor in his green speedos.

I also saw all of the Universal Monster sets. I almost grabbed the Gitd Creature from the Black Lagoon and the B&W Set, but I don't think any of these really translates all that well into the minimate format. It just didn't work for me.

I am looking forward to seeing The MAX line though.

I found the new FF wave. I held off but will go back this week to start getting them.
I like the new Sue and Ben but if I get two of the sets I'll have to get the set with Reed cause these newer FF minimates look better than the first set they released a few years back so I'll just replace them.

I just picked up the X-Force 4-pack on Ebay. The seller was selling it for 19.99 with free shipping. He still had 10 left after I bought one. I'll post a link if anyone is interested. Since I wasn't able to go to SDCC and my buddy who went couldn't pick one up I've been waiting for an affordable auction. Now to get that 90's X-Men set with Jubilee.

just read through this entire thread today! it looks like there's an excalibur box set in the works. hopefully that means a new nightcrawler for anyone here who can't get one at a reasonable price. meggan is the only original member not made yet so she must be a lock. i'm hoping for an original costume captain britain or a modern cap with a better paint job than the last one produced (a bulkier chest piece might not be such a bad idea either).

Does anybody know the retail price of the M.A.X. 2-Packs? My local TRU is pretty good about stocking minimates, but they haven't received these yet.
