Swap Meet 2?

I've noticed the new Swap Meet has been under construction for a while now. I was just wondering, without divulging too much top secret info, what will be the difference? Will it be a replacement for the current Swap Meet?

I know I can count on the awesome mods here, to give me answers that are the antithesis of those we usually get from Mattel

As always, if you are not seeing your favorite Mattel brand at your preferred retailers, you should contact them directly to let them know what brands you are interested in buying from them.

Sorry, this is not something we can share with the public, but that is a great suggestion. And while we can't comment on features that are in development I'll pass your thoughts along to our design team.

We have decided not to go forward with Swap Meet 2. I know it had it's fans, but they were loud, but few. Unfortunately the retailers are not placing order for Swap Meet 2. If fans had supported Swap Meet 2 more then we could look at some alternatives, but at the end of the day the support just wasn't there. We may look at relaunching Swap Meet 2 in 2011 when the Swap Meet feature film is out.

A lot of fans still ask about Swap Meet 2. To be clear, as has always been the direction, all parts of of the classic Swap Meet will be done through the "Swap Meet" forum not the Swap Meet 2 forum.

This is why you don’t see Swap Meet 2 posts in the Swap Meet forum. Right now we’re not doing Swap Meet 2 trades, we are doing Swap Meet trades.

We will add Swap Meet 2 elements into Swap meet, but not in Swap Meet 2 style. Right now the Swap Meet 2 style is retired. We have pulled back a bit.
