I just found this in the back of one of my LCBS covered in dust and bought it right away. I always wanted it but could never find it. Now I know why, it's the best thing to come out of Marvel Select. I thought Sabertooth was the best but he is easily beat out by the god of thunder.

I am hoping it makes it into one of the Best Of MS cases. I was hoping F.Y.E. would get them in and it was one of the few Marvel Select figures that they didn't get in

Hope they didn't overcharge you for it! No actually it was $19.99. I was shocked as this place usually will mark everything up to crazytown prices when it's a hard to find figure but he was just regular price. He should definitely be made into a best of series as he is the best figure they have made to date.

I've had Marvel Select Thor in my want list F O R E V E R. If they don't add him to a best of assortment, I may have to resort to Ebay.

Methinks thou wilst have enough Thor merchandise to choke even mighty Volstagg by the time the season Midgard calls "Spring" beckons.

Thou dost speak profoundly with the tongue of Asgard. May Odin smile greatly upon thee.

I had forgotten about this thread. I received a surprise package in the mail from an awesome member here at AFi a few weeks ago. I open it, and to much to my delight, it was Marvel Select Thor !! It looks even better in person. This fan of the Odinson hath been, pleased... Verily

I've been collecting Marvel toys for just a few months and was really turned on by the older Marvel Legends stuff. I have a Marvel Select (MS) Hulk and Juggernaut but was on the fence about all the other MS stuff simply because is didn't seem to be in scale with the Legends stuff I have. I knew the MS Thor was available but thought that the 2012 Marvel Legends (ML) stuff would be better. After seeing the reviews for the SDCC Legends Thor I believe I'm woefully wrong. I would think that Hasbro would want to one up the competition to make their product look more appealing but no. I love lots of articulation and it's the same for both figures. The sculpt and paint seems to be much better in the MS figure. Thank you Diamond Select for making the choice easy for me. Or maybe I should thank Hasbro. Either way, I'm going with the MS Thor.
