My wife and I were watching random videos on youtube, and somehow, someway we ended up watching a video of a guy's G.I. Joe collection. He had a lot of vintage joes I pined for as a kid, that haven't been duplicated in the 25th, ROC, or POC lines. It got me to thinking (and I believe Superfly's brought it up recently also). Who would you like to see next in the Pursuit of Cobra line? Here's my short list: First, characters who haven't seen a release in decades. Crazy Legs LifelineAlpineAirtight Iceberg Second, just favorites of mine that I'd love to see with all the cool weapons and accessories POC has come to be known for. Baroness Major Bludd (his character could use a complete image overhaul in my opinion) Scarlett (I bet she'd kick all sorts of ass in POC style) Leatherneck (please give him a new headsculpt so he doesn't look exactly like Gung Ho) Lady Jaye Road Block Gung Ho (I'd also love for them to bring back his variant in Dress Blues) I know there aren't tons of Joe fans here, but this is the only board I frequent, so I just wanted to gauge interest. Plus I love wishlists .

First, I want that awesome Scarlett, they had planned, released. I'd love an update on Alpine. He was one of my favorites as a kid. Airtight and Tunnel Rat would be nice and I always liked Big Ben and would like to see how they could update him. And for the love of God what do we have to do to get a new Jinx?!
For Cobra, I really want a new Major Bludd. An updated Tele-Viper would be cool for the next army builder.

Definitely Major Bludd.
A non-arctic Alpine would be nice, but the upcoming one with the Mech looks pretty good.
I'd love to see a revamped Road Pig.
Heck, I'd really dig a modern Raptor!
I'd love to see a really bad-a** Gung Ho based upon his original look. The 25th A version was so wimpy looking.

Major Bludd and Lifeline are musts.
I wouldn't mind the Techno-Viper updated, either.
Airtight would be awesome, mainly because he's one of the few Joes I never got.

I just saw the pics of Alpine and the next Mech suit wave. I don't know how I overlooked that at SDCC. Looks great to me. I guess I can cross one off my list .

Ill keep it to 5-- but I only want them if they get them to look close to the Vintage/25th character designs
Sci-Fi (has to be neon green) Cover Girl (the real one-- none of this blonde crap ( and I know she was blonde in the first cartoon apperance-- but I prefer her the DD comic way) Techno Viper (hes gotta be purple) Big Boa (goofy helmet and all) Slice and Dice (2 pack please) - in (Red and purple)

Alpine Law and Order
. Not counting the mecha suit-- Alpine was released in once of the MASS Device Box sets during the 25th wave (of course it is the one that is the hardest to find) Also so was Law and Order like 2 years ago in a ROC set (although not with the goofy blue we love)-in desert camo- http://www.oafe.net/yo/gijmtb5p1.phpI picked up that 5 pack at ross for 12.00

Thanks for the link Stew. I'd never seen that ROC Law and Order before, and I never knew those five-packs even existed. I had completely forgotten about that Mass device set. I've probably picked it up and put it down 10 times already at TRU.
However I still would like to see all of those I listed, as well as some that you guys listed, with the more modernized Pursuit of Cobra look.

Probably wasnt the Alpine set- he was released in the last wave-even when he was out- that set was going for triple the price in the store-- - There were 5 of them in total-- Each with a piece of the Mass Device.. the other harder one to get had Classic Quick Kick..

Well here's what I know and what I'll assume.
I'm a member of that Joe website, you know the one? Not sure if I'm allowed to say the name of other forums here. . . .And what I know is Ashiko, Sci-Fi, Crazy Legs, Saw Viper and Steel Brigade were all supposed to come out in the POC banner. They are now in Limbo. What I assume is when the new Renegades Line is launched in the end of 2011 they will be worked into those assortments. Now having said that, who I need to feel my personal collection is complete???
Zandar and Zarana Thrasher maybe Gnawgahyde, Roadpig, and Zanzibar (not needed but I'd buy them if they make them.) And preferably a better more faithful Monkey Wrench.
Lifeline Airtight Iceberg Budo and a single carded Dialtone not a Franken Dialtone the Joe club is doing.
And of course the ever popular Slaughters Renegades, Mercer, Taurus and Red Dog, and our favorite Science Fiction team of Cobra La, Golobulous Pythona, and Royal Guards, but not as a three pack, so we can army build the Guards.
After that I'm ok to say I'm good. But I'd like a Tomahawk, Stun, Tactical Battle Platform, A New kick ass Raven, a better headquarters, and if they can redo, rather than re-release the Terrordrome, that would be awesome. Then I can say Hasbro did all they could. But the occasional juicy tid bit like Low Light is not enough per year. I'll have grey hair by the time I get what I need.

I've been meaning to add to this for a while, but I kept forgetting. My most wanted list includes:
Zanya Zarana Zandar Road Pig Thrasher Billy Jinx a modern Stalker (preferably a "City Strike" version with no beret) Lifeline and female Cobra Troopers, Vipers, Crimson Guards, and Iron Grenadiers
I would definitely like to see Scarlett and Lady Jaye updated with new figures, although a new head sculpt and the 2009 version of Lady Jaye's body would be sufficient for the latter. Beyond that, I'd rather see characters who'd never had figures like Firewall, Daemon, Mayday, Sparks, Heart-Wrencher, Mistress Armada, and Alexander McCullen before anything like Cobra-La or Sci-Fi.

You know, female Vipers is a GREAT idea. What better way to get us to buy even more army builders? Or at least, female support Vipers like Tele-Vipers, Techno-Vipers, etc. Or maybe a special unit of female Vipers who act as Baroness's personal body guard? I can't believe Hasbro hasn't done this yet! Even the Stormtroopers have had a female!

A Cobra Trooper would require a new head, but the Viper and Iron Grenadier heads fit perfectly on the '09 Lady Jaye body. They don't even need new tooling for those.

I like the female viper idea. I would definitely buy a ton of them if they were done right.
