I have loved legos ever since I was a kid. Ever since then I have loved the castle and pirate themes, and a few others including the cowboys and star wars and especially the ninjas. I still have many of the sets and minifigs from the late 80s and through the 90s. Some of my fav memories with toys have been getting legos, including the birthday I got King's Mountain Fortress, or the Christmas I got Forestman's Crossing. I even remember one year when the cowboy sets were new, I wanted one of the large sets so bad for Christmas, I kept looking at the advertisement for it up until Christmas. Indeed I got the Sherriffs Lockup that Christmas and still have it to this day 99% complete. I still collect legos from time to time. A few years ago my parents got me a couple of the Indiana Jones sets, which I was really stoked about, and when they remade castle with the skeletons back in '07 I got a few of those too. This year I got a few of the Kingdoms sets, the Toy Story army men, some of the Atlantis sets and I even got a hold 3 of the Lego Series 2 minifigs. My question to you guys is what do you collect? Do you have any favorite memories with legos? Feel free to post any pics too! I enjoy looking at others collections!

For some reason the idea of a vampire leading a undead army is awesome

I used to collect all the star wars sets- until space really became a premium, and I sold off everything (including all my vintage castle and the first go round of the Potter sets) but the minifigs-- I still either pick up sets for the minifigs and resell the rest, or get the keychains and magnets versions.. But I have a large collection of SW, Batman, Spidey, Indiana Jones minifigs-- Ill probably grab some of the POTC as well..

I love Legos, but I mostly buy generic box sets so I can build terrain and buildings for my Mini-mate collection or for use in my D&D campaigns. However, a do get a lot of their underwater stuff (Aquanauts, Aqua-Raiders, and most recently Atlantis). I have a couple Star Wars sets, mostly stuff I know Hasbro will never get around to like the Death Star and Star Destroyer. Whenever I have to buy a Christmas present for younger kids, I always get them Legos. I think they're a great (and educational) toy.

I loved the Aquanauts line but unfortunately a bin of my legos was stolen a few years ago and it included my aquanauts, star wars, space and most of my castle weapons and a few other sets. Fortunately I still have a few of the minifigs from those missing sets but to replace them would be a pain to find and I would need lots of money I dont have. lol Ive seen many of them on EBAY

I have a bunch of Legos in storage somewhere. Mainly the first year of Bionicles, the earlier incarnation of the Spy stuff, a little Star Wars and some of the Adventure series before they got the Indiana Jones license.

I've been back into Lego for over 10 years now. Unfortunately the high price points for the large, cool sets keep me from buying them unless there's a good sale. Still some of the smaller sets are pretty neat. This year I've picked up some Pharaoh's Quest and Hero Factory 2.0 sets. The 2.0 figures are waaayyy cooler than the 1st series. Also got the Manalorian battle pack, mmmmmmmmandalorians. For 2011 I'm most looking forward to a new line called Alien Conquest. Not much has been lea....er shown so far but the style seems to incorporate 1950s/60s style space ships. Here's a couple of peeks: http://www.flickr.com/photos/57393885@N03/5287322111/

Found this on clearance for 5.48 at a target. I didnt realize how awesome this set is. The guy has some cool claws and the axe can come apart. best part of all is that it came with an extra claw! perfect ninja weapon!

Has anyone bought into the new Ninjago line?
It seems to be some sort of cross between lego and beyblade with playsets and vehicles to round everything out. At $10 per figure, I'm not sure I will invest in it, but some of the characters and sets look intriguing and my son is in love with all things Beyblade so this might be a good transition for him...

I saw them at wal mart, I thought 9.84 was a steep price for one minifig and weapons. I might just wait for the regular sets to come out, they have a few cool ones and a few that look really lame. I loved the old ninja line from the late 90's early 2000s!
