Mark my words Wal-Mart will be the best place to hole up when it all goes down. Pretty much. But if it is some disease, we're all screwed. Like the crows in RE:3...yeah, they'll spread that crap forever. I'm ready if it happens. I keep a gun handy. 6 bullets. 5 for zombies, 1 for me.

OK, so now, according to Chuck Hogan and Guillermo del Toro, Vampirism is both a parasite and a virus simultaneously. And has its origins tied back to those "Fallen from the Light" (so far only alluding to the possibility that makes them Angels).
The 2 books out so far are nice quick reads, and you can almost already see the movie playing in your head as you read them. I'm interested enough to pick up the 3rd and "final" book when it comes out next year.
but until then, what's next?
Will we see a revisionist Frankenstein's Monster that lets us know that each body part collected carried a virus or parasitic strain, and when all those parts got together and were electrified, they somehow, and only in this exact combination, mutated again to create life? Oy.

Does anyone think the Lunar Eclipse combined with the Winter Solstice AND a possible meteor shower tonight might usher in the zombie apocalypse?

Something gotta come of that.
Things don't line up like that more than once in any 3 lifetimes so I can't wait to wake up tomorrow and see the news reports about mutant animal outbreaks and the crazies breaking loose from their cells ....

Although this particular quote is from 1978, it still rings very true today: "The brains are dead; it's the idiots that are still alive".....

Did anyone hear the bit on NPR this morning about radiation, godzilla and zombies?
