I've been listening to the Tron Soundtrack as a drive to and from work.
Just downloaded the Mumford and Sons album over the weekend because it was on sale. I haven't put it on my phone yet to listen to it yet. I'm also gonna pick up the new Josh Ritter EP that was released this week.

1) I've been digging Tinariwen lately. They are a band of musicians from the Sahara Desert. When they perform they are decked out in traditional Tuareg nomad clothes. But they are hugely electric guitar and bass driven. Very bluesy, cool percussion. Completely mesmerizing. Check 'em out!
2) Nicki Minaj. I love her and want to be her boyfriend.

cool, any quick links to Tinariwen? because I'm lazy.
I've been listening to the Tron soundtrack, too, at work. Along with the new Tallest Man on Earth disc, mixed in with the usual Johnny Cash, New Found Glory, and Jem. Quite the mix.

"Cler Achel" and "Oualahila Ar Tesninam" are a couple of my fav songs. The Superfly wrote: I've been listening to the Tron soundtrack, too, at work. Glad you guys mentioned this. Been wanting to get it...

More of a talk radio guy, but my iPod is full of 80's one hit wonders, REM, Depeche Mode, Bare Naked Ladies, and U2.

I get on jags when I'm writing. Up until recently, I've been listening to Late 60's British Invasion type stuff. Hermans Hermits, etc.
But new book, new music. Currently I am on a CCR, 5 Man Electrical Band, Guess Who, Eagles jag.

I'm back on a David Bowie kick again. Bowie, and Cee-Lo Green. That damn song is just so damn catchy ...

The Civil Wars is my favorite album right now. In my car, I listen to Arcade Fire a lot. Both the Funeral and Suburbs albums.
