I remember watching the Real Ghostbusters as a kid but mainly cause there wasn't much else on at the time.
In the latest Q&A they mentioned Thundercats as a possibility now with the new cartoon in the works. That would be cool. Unless I read that wrong.
I would love minimates of the Silverhawks.

It's been quiet in here, but there was lots of new minimate info and pictures at Toy Fair... check out AFI & others for pictures and coverage The X-Force Box Set was released this week. I went back & forth on whether I really wanted it, but eventually, I got it (or rather, let BBTS put it in my Pile of Loot). I never read a X-Force comic, but I did enjoy their appearance in (Red) Hulk and that battle. I also picked up the Ghostbusters "We Are Ready To Believe" Box Set from TRU.com. It was $9.98 and I thought I better grab it before it was too late. I really wanted the set, just not for $14.98 + shipping. >$16 including shipping worked though

Any sign of the latest TRU mini-mate wave?
I'd like to get that Lizard they recently made.

Thanks for the response to my question. What a pity it was cancelled, it was a nice looking little vehicle...

Yeah, I was kind of looking forward to it too. In other minimate news... The Uncanny X-Force Box Set has been out for about a month now. I have mine still in my BBTS Pile of Loot, waiting for (hoping for?) The Exclaibur set to show up soon. Art Asylum website has prototype shots of the minimate vehicle KITT from Knight Rider (and the full sized vehicles too). Otherwise, it's been quiet...

According to a e-mail I received from BBTS, both the 25th Anniversary Back To The Future and Marvel Excalibur Box Sets are out, as our the Thor Movie Army Builders. I decided to cancel my BBTF set and I am skipping the Thor Movie-Mates, But I am still in for the Excalibur set.
BACK TO THE FUTURE 25TH ANNIVERSARY MINIMATES BOX SET This Minimates box set includes Marty, Doc Brown, Biff and Principal Strickland.
MARVEL EXCALIBUR MINIMATES BOX SET The long-awaited box set includes new versions of Nightcrawler and Juggernaut as well as Captain Britain and Meggan
THOR MOVIE MINIMATES ARMY BUILDER DUMP This third assortment of Minimates this week includes one each of Laufey and Selvig, along with three Asgardian Royal Guards, three of Frost Giant 1 and four of Frost Giant 2. This set is perfect for setting up battle scenes

Add to the latest minimate releases Thor Movie and Marvel Series 38, the latter of which is in my BBTS POL. I may grab a Thor if I see him locally, but I plan to skip most of the Thor Movie mimimates.
I also received my Uncanny X-Force and Excalibur box sets yesterday... very nice!

Ask DST #125, Minimate Edition. Nothing of real interest, but there it is nonetheless!

Saw the remnants of Thor Movie Minimates during a rare stop at TRU. I was tempted by a regular movie Thor (w/ The Destroyer) to go with Iron Man, but left it for now.

I saw the whole set, including two TRU exclusive packs. I picked up the TRU Ex. Lady Sif & Volstagg set because I think they will work with the regular Thor minimate, especially Volstagg. Really, outside of Thor, they all kind of work as comic-style Thor minimates, so I may go back and grab Odin too.

TRDouble wrote: New Ask DST #128, Minimate Edition! All I can say is wow Ivan Gumbercules Metaphysically speaking, when you take a Minimate apart at what point does it lose its soul? I mean, a disassembled Minimate really isn’t a Minimate any more. It’s just a pile of pieces, right? But a Minimate with a missing foot is still a Minimate. Where is the line, when does a Minimate cease being a Minimate? When it’s missing a leg? An arm? A torso? Maybe it’s a percentage thing? Is it by mass or volume? And furthermore, when you take a Minimate apart is its soul lost forever? Perhaps it will return when the Minimate is reassembled? If that happens, where did the soul go in the meantime? Does it hang around the Minimate pieces in some other interworldly dimension? Or does it return to the Maryland Minimate Soul Repository for some rest and relaxation? Forgive me, each question I ask seems to raise another in my mind. Are Minimate customizers somehow “playing God”? They indiscriminately disassemble existing Minimates that have their own unique identities. Then reassemble the parts to make their own deviant chimeras. Do these creations have Minimate souls? Or are the customizers creating mere automatons? Should they not have the same rights as all Minimates? Many thanks, -Ivan DSTChuck: When is a person not a person, how does one measure a soul, does a soul have weight? I would propose that your theory is flawed. If a person does in fact possess a soul they still have that soul even if they lose their arms or legs. They still have that soul if they are in a coma SO if a MM does in fact possess a soul it would retain it no matter what condition you leave it in. If you put a different coat or shirt on yourself in the morning are you playing God? Seems silly to suggest something like that doesn’t it? And it’s equally arrogant to assume you are not in fact playing God will when you re-arange a MM isn’t it?
