My White Whales are more than likely going to be the rest of the Vintage Star Wars Collection (for a decent price, and theres the bugbear a decent price), and the Glyos Figures (I don't mean the recent ones I am talking about the 2007 to 2010 figures) also the heads that people have made for these figures as well.

Most of the ones from the TNBA/STAS 4-packs. I was lucky enough to get Alfred with the tray for a good price, but the rest elude me.

Lois Lane seems impossible to get for a decent price. And I've given up on her. My eyes nearly popped out after going through Casimir's beautiful site and seeing how many times he used her to make customs. I've counted four so far. But he's been toy collecting so long, he deserves it.

Is that why she's virtually unavailable? Is it because she's so good for customs when you want a girl in a skirt?

Going back to the start of this thread -- Shellhead, I used to have those original G1 Predacons. Awesome set, and easily one of the largest combiners ever. I rather regret selling them some years back.

My White Whale? Wow, I could have a whole pod of them and do a Captain Ahab impression the rest of my life. It's not so much the lack of availability in many of them, it's the lack of funds on my part to do anything about it.

Sold my near-complete mint condition Exo-Squad collection some years ago. I'd like to have that back.

There were a couple of super-exclusive Microman figures, Jin and somebody else, that I've seen pictures of, and that's about it.

I've heard rumors that a set of original-style G.I. Joe figures called the Ninja Commandos, originally produced for 1994, then backed up to 1995, and then cancelled entirely when the 3-3/4" line met its demise, did reach some level of production and that multiple sets may still exist (probably in some dusty warehouse overseas). I've seen a handful of sets go on eBay for what I would expect to put down as a significant down payment on a large house if I had that kind of money.

Mostly I try not to think about it too much. Given what action figure distribution can be like these days, I've got more than enough to do trying to stay current. Like trying to find the DCUC Wave 16 Riddler, or some of those supposedly unreleased G.I. Joe items that have been turning up sporadically at Ross stores. So I suppose I'm not so much after my White Whales -- as Trout.

That wouldn't be so much "WTF?" to me, man. The three Super Powers 33-back Red Tornados have all shown up from eBay Spain.

My current two are the Super Powers 12-back Brainiac with the "Free Poster Offer" and the Playful Super Amigos Brainiac...honorable mention (but I'm not holding my breath) is the Estrela Super Powers Cyborg.
