Hello, We have created what we hope will be the premier action figure page on FB. Dedicated to Star Wars, G.I. Joe, Marvel Universe, and DC Universe Infinite Heroes figures. The link is at the following site... there you can post and view pictures... see preview pics for up and coming figures... see lists, compare info... and there'll be a few other surprises. Please check it out. If you already have a facebook id, you can join by hitting the "like" button. This a non profit, unaffiliated site for fun. http://www.facebook.com/ActionFiguresFBThanks.

Hmmmm, now why would we need to do that there when we can already do all of that and more here? CCC.

I'm sensing some tension in your response... and that wasn't the purpose of my post. I apologize if I've ruffled any feathers, Among other pics... I'm posting my own pics of my figures on my FB page... it's all about fun and sharing... just like it is with you. also... I'd love to link your group and would feel honored if you also joined mine... as I said.. it's all about fun. I tried clicking the link in your new post but it doesn;t seem to work. Apologies.... I'm not trying to step on any toes here, http://www.facebook.com/ActionFiguresFB

I thought of one more reason.... people on FB may not know about your site but they do know how to type in "Action Figures"... my group could be a great avenue for your site and toy fair to get more attention. Then there;'s the fact that some of those people who are FB only may be able to bring info to the table that this site may not have (however unlikely that may be)... the lines of communication could run both ways. http://www.facebook.com/ActionFiguresFB

I don't know about Julius, but I am not on FB and don't plan to be, so your logic is worthless on me, however, Julius did state that AFI has a FB page, so the search you mentioned would lead there too. Ultimately it looks like you are coming in here and trying to steal members. Me, I am the sarcastic one, and I will just pick on you, but the owners here COULD be genuinely offended. You would have to ask them.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I use Facebook for my friends, not my websites, forums, businesses or anything else.

Well... I don't like being accused of a thief... and I don't know how I could STEAL people AWAY from this site. It's a great site and I would never badmouth it or encourage people to abandon it (like some have apparently taken to bad mouthing me here). All I can do is reiterate my apology. ---------------------------------- http://www.facebook.com/ActionFiguresFB

To be honest AFFB what did you expect to happen when you came in here and said oh everyone come over to my site because I am doing everything the same over there as people do over here, that to me looks very much like poaching, whats next you going to give out free milk and cookies to get people over there, lol.

Yep. It's just bad Netiquette. Your very FIRST post (and 2nd and 3rd) are just to plug your own thing... which is very similar to the same thing we are doing here. There was no real attempt to be a part of or get to know the community here. It was just a plug.
That's why it's bad form and left a bad taste in the community's mouth.
Can you see that?
Thanks D.

Lol, these forums are always good for a chuckle.
In my opinion Facebook is a fad, this site is not. 2 years from now people will be abandoning facebook in droves and all the pages on it will be forgotten.

2 years from now? Doubtful. But eventually something more popular will come along.
But calling it a 'fad' is a bit of a stretch...with over 600 million active users, with only %15 of that being in U.S., these kinds of social media fan pages aren't going away and will certainly not be 'forgotten'.

Not to mention that Facebook has been around for 7 years now. That's a bit long for a fad.
