Yup. Especially once I saw the ending. The beginning was cool (and creepy) enough, but that ending . . . This ain't your daddy's fantasy epic, that's for sure!

Sooooo hooked. I couldn't hit series record fast enough on my DVR. I doesn't hurt that it has copious amounts of <ahem> adult situations....

Incest is best, put your sister to the test! But seriously, I think this will be the hit Boardwalk Empire wasn't.

I really enjoyed Boardwalk Empire. I can't wait for next season. Is there a next season? But I like this better.

BE got better toward the end, I'll admit.
And yes, there will be a 2nd season.

I love HBO's original programming. It just seems to get better and better.
I thought about going out and getting the novels for Game of Thrones too but I think I will wait until after this first season of the show.

HBO original programming = WIN. True Blood, Boardwalk Empire, Treme, Entourage, Eastbound and Down, and now Game of Thrones. All great shows, all of which I'm hooked on. And these are years after shows like Oz and the Sopranos originally got me hooked on HBO.

Band of Brothers is what pulled me in and Deadwood cemented my love for HBO. I'm still sad Deadwood never got a proper ending.

Well, I'd say the second episode got even better. I'm already invested in several of the characters. And I choked up a bit when Ned had to kill the Dire Wolf. Can't wait to see some payback. I really dislike some of the villains. Two hours in, and I already want them dead!

The Queen is no better. I can't stand her either. You know a series is going good when you have a serious disdain for the villains.

and I do love the Dwarf. He is by far my favorite character so far. Tons of intelligence and attitude. Almost a Cynical Optimism of how the world will play out for him.
Love It.
And the "clockwork" opening credits is just amazing. I hope that was done by model makes and not CGI (although it is impressive either way).
Another stellar ending to an episode as well.
