My buddy from Houston visited me recently and took a bunch of photos in my studio...which I had never gotten around to doing yet. I'm 56, so I have been collecting for quite a while (and have a lot of interests). Here's the link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/20318185@N ... 09/detail/

ComicinkeR, VERY NICE COLLECTION! May I ask how big your closet space is? I have a small walk in closet that I am thinking of turning into a small display area. Also, were those shelves custom built? They look very professionally done.
GOOD HUNTING!

I'll have to ask my wife about the dimensions. I know she will know since she planned out most everything. The shelves were custom-built when the house was built...not an added in thing. My studio was supposed to have been slightly bigger, but my wife took out a 'foot' to save money.
So when I don't have either of my kids' rooms to help me out storage-wise it gets rather cluttered. My daughter is still in college and my son graduated recently and moved back home till he gets a job.
I definitely have cut way back on going to garage sales and the rising price of figures has made me pickier.

Love the collection! One question, are the bigger Atom Ant, Peter Potamus and touche Turtle all soakies?? I've been wanting to start collecting vintage soakies for awhile now, and I'm a HUGE Hannah Barberra fan, so I'm really digging all the HB stuff in your collection.

Here are some more pics of my studio since I finally cleaned up more and vacuumed. I got those big Target display masks also a few years ago, but donated the other two (no room). Good thing my buddy called me to go to Target sooner than they told me to (to claim them). They were already chunking stuff and had thrown away the cardboard companion pieces I asked them to save. He thought it looked like they were jumping the gun and phoned me from the store. Target has some of the best in-store displays/decorations depending on the season and those Halloween ones were fabulous and I was so glad no one else had 'dibs' on them already!! So nostalgic and eye-catching!! Most of the comics on the spinners are vintage, but a couple (rarer ones) have color copies of covers bagged and boarded as substitutes.
