Information on upcoming waves of 4" POTC figures has been scarce, but I just got the new Previews today which has the solicitations for Wave 4 which contains the following: English Red Guard, Skrum, Classic Davy Jones, Commander Norrington, and Jack Sparrow.
Yea! We're starting to see figures from the other films! Fantastic!

The figures are decent. Only good ones are Angelica, Black Beard, Gibbs for 6" line.

Just saw a Series 2 sighting on Cool Toy Review: emgamera wrote: for anyone interested, i found the series 2 figures at a walmart in the chicago suburbs.
they had an endcap with these small cardboard shipper boxes. each one held 6 or 8 figures. there seemed evenly split between boxes of series 1 and series 2.
the series 2 figures were captain jack (different from single release -- S2 has full jacket), blackbeard (different coat from series 1), barbossa (same as series 1 from what i could tell), gunner (same as target box set) and a really awesome looking zombie.
the blacklight reveal feature was different on all the series 2 figures. the package lists it as "zombie reveal" instead of series 1's "hidden reveal," and the deco was different from the previous release.
cool stuff! happy hunting! AWESOME! I'm really looking forward to this assortment!

...and, I found Series 2 today in Columbus, OH at Walmart (Rt 23 in Lewis Center for you local type folk). I picked up Jack (longcoat version and the zombie (who wasn't lucky enough to have a name bestowed upon him like Gunner, who's also in this wave). There's a repack of Barbossa and a ever so slightly new Blackbeard (his coat is closed instead of open as the first series figure is). I really dig this Jack. I love the longcoat look on the character and this captures it nicely. Of course, it's nowhere near as nice as the Revoltech version of the character, but then...it's a WHOLE lot cheaper! The zombie crewman is really cool looking, too. I hope we get a couple more zombie crew members in the line.

Target has an "exclusive" 5 pack of the first wave (no Gibbs)-- quite a savings of the 7.99 Price Tag.

I picked up the board game yesterday at TRU and played it today. It's very fun. Sailing around, battling, picking up prizes, good stuff.

Didn't know Series 2 was out already, I guess I've been preoccupied with Green Latern, TF3 and Cap'n America.
But I'll be on the look out this weekend, especially for series 2 Jack. Going to see the movie tomorrow!

As far as I know Series 2 has only shown up at Walmarts. And, not all of 'em. Good luck and enjoy the movie! It's fun!

It's got 12 figures (couple of dupes in there) with the UV LEDs to show off the hidden reveal feature. Any other retailers get one of those?... (hoping my store's survives and I can snag it when things are done)

Most Walmarts in the area don't have them, I just happened to be out of town and stumbled into one that had some on the pegs.
