As the title says which Toy Lines would you like to see brought back and updated with the new techniques in toy making now.
Here are a couple of mine and I would like these done in the same style as G.I. Joe or MU, and the same size:
Star Wars (Scrap the whole lot and start again, no I am kidding but it would be cool).
Now for my list:
SCI-FI: Buck Rogers in the 25th Century Black Hole Flash Gordon Micronauts Space 1999 Bravestarr Silverhawks Galaxy Rangers
FANTASY: He-Man Thundarr Crystar Blackstar Galador
NEWER LINES: The Muppets/Sesame Street (Palisades Orignal Style) TMNT (MU/G.I. Joe Style)
So these are my wishlists what are yours?

But I do agree, bring back the AD&D line. Imagine what the 4H could do with some of the iconic monsters! I would also like: The Inhumanoids Silverhawks

I would prefer new toylines to be made of original properties. Whenever an older toyline is brought back it seems to be aimed at collectors rather than kids, and we've seen that lines designed for collectors don't really increase in value as much as a new toyline that catches on.

SUPER POWERS! And in the original scale with original style cardbacks. Keep hoping it will happen someday (Mattel? DC Direct? Somebody? Anybody!).

Seriously, most people here are more concerned with getting something they like and not hunting for something because it might be worth more than what you paid for it.

Flash Gordon Buck Rogers DCIH Black Hole (only for custom fodder, not enough characters to be worth it.) Star Trek Mego Star Trek ERTL (mostly this one) Star Trek Galoob Star Trek Playmates (most recent, assuming it will be continued with another movie.)
Note: 1. These are all 1/18 scale.* 2. I like the selection of aliens in the Mego line, the articulation/construction of the ERTL line-most like GI Joe, and the availability of characters in the TNG/DS9/Voyager era. Combining the best elements of each of these would be most preferable. 3. Really want to finish my Playmates movie bridge!
* I had an idea for an Enterprise playset that closely followed the design/structure of the Kenner Death Star. Something this size would obviously never work with the ramped up scale Playmates went with for TNG, not cost effective, but Kenner proved it would work for 1/18 scale.
CCC.

Seriously, most people here are more concerned with getting something they like and not hunting for something because it might be worth more than what you paid for it. There's also the fact that original toylines are usually better, more interesting, and it seems like the makers are trying harder. Similar to movies, barring the few exceptions the sequel is never as good as the first one. When I go into TRU the isle that holds the least interest for me is that collector isle near the front where they things like Gremlins, Family Guy, Predator. I find original things much more interesting than things based on movies, video games, or just plain rehashes. The absolute worst are the GI joe and transformers movie figures. Toy series based on movies that are based on toylines. This is a big part of the reason why I haven't gotten into Transformers and while I do collect GI Joe I never got any of the movie figures.
