I have a pretty big collection of many different lines, vintage and new, carded and loose, and i needed some wall space so I decided to open these and display them. The only problem is the stands don't work very well, so I leaned the bear and the mothmonster against the wall. Wish they would've put series 2 of these out. Palisades really made som cool accessories, wish I had a better way to display them, but here's what I got right now (I put em on a shelf with Hannah Barberra stuff):

Yes, that's what you do with toys....OPEN THEM!! I loved my Master Shake. I just wish they had done Frylock and Meatwad too. This is definitely one of those companies I miss. They had one of the best collector clubs and toy lines. It is too bad things worked out the way they did

Palisades is my favorite of the short lived toy companies. Not only did they release wonderful figures, but like you said they gave their figs the best accessories. I'd like to see more of your Hanna-Barbera display.

If there was ever a need for a way-back time machine, it would be to save Palisades.

Hands down, one of the greatest toy companies to have ever graced our Nerd World.

Ditto on Palisades. I know most people wanted the Sesame Street line, but the line that could-have-been that I miss is Fairly Odd Parents. The crap Jakks put out saturated the market with unmovable... crap, so no one big bought into the Palisades line and they were tough enough to get online if you missed the pre-order (which I did), and then it died after Series 1, right before the company did IIRC, unfortunately. If the line had been successful and continued, i would have bought them all!

Palisades was great. I'm surprised they couldn't stay afloat with the amount of money I spent on the Micronauts remakes. Those were awesome.

As much as I liked palisades product, I believe they were horrible with customer interaction and service-- it may have been luck of the draw-- but I had 3 bad experiences with them-- both in person and through email. They left the bad taste in my mouth that they were very unprofessional...

I believe what killed them the most- is the sudden massive influx of exclusives that it got to the point (like Gentle Giant) where there were more exclusives than main stream product. (some very difficult to obtain), the watering down of several properties with multiple scales, some suspect licensing choices, the decision to do blind boxed figures - and not to mention their declining quality..
