I would like to commission a couple of Imaginext customs such as Bane and Bizarro. My son loves the Imaginext line and always asks me if they have Bane or Bizarro at the store. Please help. I can arrange payment with Paypal.

In the main Imaginext discussion thread there are great customs. They are in that 100+ page thread scattered throughout.

I understand about Bizarro but you dont like the BANE (Playskool) figure ?

So, what are you looking for......both of these characters should be LARGER/bulkier than the regular Imaginext figures. Would you want them the same size as all the OTHER Imaginext or custom(ized) bigger ?

I've been trying my hand at customizing figures. At the moment I just headswap but I've been trying to paint. My patience and skill aren't giving me the result that I want yet but I'm keeping with it.

When I can paint successfully, I want to take the legs and head from ImagiNext Bane and the Playskool Marvel Hulk body and arms. That will give the character as much bulk as possible without leaving the scale. That way the regular Bane could be without venom and the bulkier Bane could be with venom activated.

I can't execute that yet but it seems like a good plan.

Brainiac doesn't have to be bigger. I suppose it depends on which design you use. I like the Legion Lost Brainiac 5 design as the smaller but killer being.

Hey Big......you never told me if my PM (about the paint) helped you out or not (I hope I did)

That combination of Bane & the Hulk would probably work out really good, I had this figure for a few wks now.....trying to figure out which head to use for a custom that my son asked for (pretty much your same recipe)

Head over to see my LATEST custom (VENOM - Flash Thompson version viewtopic.php?f=32&t=25078 ) and let me know what you think

Hey Guys... should we all come up with a common "Custom Imaginext" thread here that we can all post our customs in or create separate threads for each (I've noticed Big IV and The_Joker13 both have their own threads)? I think having one common thread for all of us to post our customs separate from the regular Imaginext thread would be cool. What do you guys think? Should we all create our own threads or just have a common thread to share?

Sounds good if the mods want to merge our threads that would be cool with me, to_count also has his own thread that could be merged as well since it's SHS and Imaginext.

As for your comment regarding paint, I would suggest using Testors. They seem to be the best at not peeling.

I think one thread could be a cool way to help promote the potential of this great line for adult collectors. People tend to overlook these little folks as kiddie toys--that they are---and forget they can be fun for all ages--and they are!

I'd vote for a merge.

I second or third that .......combining them works for me also.

Now my question is, do we POST only the NEW stuff or do we go back and RE-POST all the other works that we have already completed ?

During my sickness (last wk and the wknd).....I was able to put a few figures together and paint them........I made multiple mistakes........so REMEMBER, I was on LOTS of DRUGS !!!

I will get us started in the NEW catagory.......

Sounds good! I would suggest pulling all of our work previously posted into the new thread. I've only done a few so far but will find my pics and post them into the new thread.

Davis... hope you are feeling better!! :D
