We are getting a new movie which looks like it is going to rock hard, but where is the Toys and Merchandise from the film.

I'm just going to say it, anytime I see a swords and sorcery movie in which there is electric guitar in the preview, it generally ends up being bad no matter how good the trailer looks.

That's my guess to why there are no toys for it.

To be honest I think your going to be wrong on this one Zed. I think it is going to be a decent movie.

I might be, nothing is ever 100%.

Actually another reason might be the R rating, movie companies avoid toys (which they feel is geared to children) for R rated films. I mean look how long it took for Jason and Feddy stuff to get made.

That's true, but I'm surprised that there isn't some attempt though. Makes me wonder if there'll be John Carter toys.

Part of the problem is probably because McFarlane already did a conan line before-- and it didnt do very well at all- since I saw most of them go to clearance (well of course as always- except for the shortpacked half naked women figures)

I think I remember those. Are they the ones that had the horrible articulation and ended up being little more than statues?

See I think the reason Mcfarlane failed was they had no articulation or very little and they were all preposed so in essence they were more like statctions instead of actual action figures.

There was also a Conan 2-pack with a Knight dude I had never heard of, that one was kind of hard to find (but not impossible) from the Toybiz comic book heroes line that also gave us Savage Dragon, Judge Dredd, ect.
