Howdy all,

I heard about the new Power Rangers figures before they hit stores last year, but wasn't especially interested. But now - there's a RITA REPULSA figure due out, and I'm starting to wonder if I should track down the main six Rangers, Rita and some putties.

Thoughts?? Do you like these new figures? Got any pics of your collection?

They are not the scale I would have wanted them to be, but I was more than ecstatic to be able to pick up sone of my favorite super heroes in a toy aisle again.
I liked them. They came with really good weapons.
The Goldar is kinda crap, but once again, it was cool to see Goldar again.
I just hope I am able to find a Rita. She's only one per case.

Has no one else collected these? I definitely thought there were be a couple of interested parties here at AFI...

I found a Rita today!!! It was awesome!!!
Now I just need to find another. One to open; one to keep.
Also got regular samurai mode Red and Green.

And I must say-- I dont remember here having Madonna Cones like that on the show-- Good Grief...Id almost say that its not a figure made for little kids..

No, trust me, she did. Weren't that big though. Bandai usually makes all their sculpts sexier...the Ranger guys are bulked up and the girls are bustier. On the show the Rangers are rather lithe.

Yeah, it bothered me a bit to see them bring back the classic Rangers only to then give the girls bigger busts and the guys all these muscles. It was nice seeing the original team all look so trim and thin...guess they figured North American kids/collectors would rather see more of the stereotypes we're comfortable with...?

In any case, I found a Rita months ago, and I think I posted it about it in the Marketplace, but since I forgot to say it here...I FOUND A RITA!! Very happy about that
