Another week and my order is still " in process" I wonder if I will ever get this stuff?

Well, I am one of the lucky ones as my Stay Puft arrived yesterday. I haven't even had time to open the shipping box though. I hope Mattel comes through for the backorders. I am hoping it is one of those cases where they did not receive their entire order and are waiting for the remainder to arrive.

EDIT: People are going CRAZY about the Matty 8/1 orders on the Ask Matty forum :shock:

I didn't read enough to see if the Stay Puft was the only item in question.

My 8/1 order has not shipped yet, but my 8/15 order just shipped.

I feel a lot luckier to get my Stay-Puft. I was mad enough that I had to wait until 8/9 for it to ship. Mattel really screwed the pooch on this one.

No real updates. There are two other threads that address the canceled 2012 subs, one DIRECTLY, the other in a POLL, and Matty.com lists what is coming in the line in 2012 and the price increase that should help drive the nail in the GB coffin.

Of other note. October 17th will see the re-release of past GB product, in case you missed anything or skipped out on select items that you now want (like I originally did with Peck!).

I wonder if this sub cancellation isn't just the beginning of a big wave of customer dissatisfaction coming back to bite Matty in its behind.

I have a suspicion that Mattel was banking on a Ghostbusters 3 film being greenlit or announced long before now. That way, they could bridge the Matty GB figs with the inevitable retail offerings. Suffice it to say, GB3 has not gotten any closer to being made.

So they are just going to move forward with the 3 announced figures and one unannounced figure for 2012? That sucks. I was really hoping to at least get the terror dogs before this line ended.

I keep forgetting the Ray w/Slimeblower is coming this month. And, it should ship tomorrow for subscribers, right?

Also, the prop replica Ghost Trap is up on Matty.com. $130.00 is too much for me with Ray and the LOSH Set also on the 17th.
