I have been on a Star Trek kick lately.
So when I get on a kick I go get toys.

(Its kinda funny though...
For years after the 2009 movie, you could still find most of the line at big lots. It was there abundantly when I did not want it.
But now that I want it, all of that stuff is magically gone.
Yet, it is still really easy to find a lot of the 2009 line around, especially online.)

It still is really, REALLY, easy to stiff find alot of this line.
I guess my mom just didn't look hard enough when she went to big lots to look for me...
But I went tonight and they had a ton still.
They might have restocked which is even sadder. Means they still have a ton of the stuff to get rid of.
Got Kirk, Sulu, Chekov, and the transporter with Scotty.
$10 for the bridge and/or transporter. And they had alot of those left.
The only figure that is just really hard to get is the 4in Uhura.

But then I go looking at stuff from Playmates 20 YEARS ago, and see something really kinda sad.
I bought a 20 YEAR!!! old Q in TNG uniform for $8. I'm thinking of getting a Guinan figure - $8.
Two very popular ST characters that should be pretty valuable now - 20 years later. But no.
Basically, Star Trek figures have not lost any value, BUT not GAINED any value.
They are basically just the price of action figures today.
They have only kept up with inflation.

Whats up with that?
