Question.. At what age did your kids really start to get into the imaginext brand?
Thx Jet My nephew was 2 months short of 3 when i bought him a ton of Batman ones and my brother bought him the space shuttle for Christmas...that night, batman was flying the space shuttle...and he has been going strong for the last 10 months. When i went to his home to visit a few weeks ago, batman was on an imaginext viking ship chasing the Imaginext killer whale.

Thx Jet The funny thing about that was that it was my daughter that started wanting Imaginext. She was 4 when she saw the Batcave at TRU. She asked for it for Christmas and after talking with my wife we decided to get it for her, we also picked up a few other Batman related toys from Imaginext. She has been in love with the stuff ever since and is now 6 years old. The great thing is that her brother who was 1 at the time also fell in love with the toys, he is now 3 and they both play with Imaginext non-stop.

Finally spotted Clayface at the local K-Mart and picked it up for my nephew for Christmas. When he finds out that Clayface can "eat" Batman he's gonna wet himself. This really is a great little line.

Welcome aboard, Curtis! And dude, I'm in my 30's and still play with action figures (and, luckily, so does my wife). I don't think anyone on these boards would call you weird for that!

I was hoping we would see a surprise release of a new figure or two, or a box set for the holidays.
Maybe even the Gotham Jail set with Bane.
Nothing but discounts at this point.
oh well...
This might be the first Imaginext free holiday for my son since the DC line began...

This might be the first Imaginext free holiday for my son since the DC line began... I have to agree, I was hoping for the same thing, even a store exclusive would have been nice. It seems like FP has put there money on the new Batcave for this holiday season (that thing is everywhere). As for an Imaginext free holiday... that will not be the case for my kids, with all of the sales and clearance items over the past couple months, I have been picking up items from some of the other Imaginext lines and putting them away for Christmas (my closet is pretty packed). I was able to pick up most of the Robot Police line from Target once they started clearancing that along with the Serpent Ship and Island playsets. Also, picked up the entire Sky Plane line from TRU once they slashed the price on the carrier and the Samurai/Ninja line from Target as well. So DC items may be a bust this season but they will have more than enough to keep them busy until the next release.

thanks man! yea,i'm really excited for the new stuff. i actually just got catwoman, clayface, new penguin sub, new batmobile, and the mr. freeze cave recently. man, are they cool. i'm keeping my fingers crossed my mom will get me the batcave for christmas. and i'm super excited about the jail, joker tank, jetpack, ad batmobile next year. i like that we get a totally different design for the mobile. and i don't agree that there are too many batmobiles.

Of course I just had to mention a store exclusive right before the holidays. The latest offering exclusively from TRU The Joker Hauler I know that it's a repaint of the space hauler and of course we get another Two-Face motorcycle, but I just had to have this.

Just was about to post that pic of The Jokers Hauler.....beat me to it I see!
My little guy will still be getting a few Imaginext surprises under the tree. Picked up Clayface and Catwoman for him. They'll be new to him since they've yet to be released in Canada.
Looking forward to the Gotham Jail with Bane in the New Year!
Enjoy the holidays everyone!

I love that all the Joker repaint vehicles are just absolutely absurd when taken out of their original context. And I was just at TRU last night and didn't see that anywhere!

That WOULD have been perfect for a Mr. Freeze vehicle...good call.

Maybe it still can be.
Remember the Police Paddy Wagon? That got re-purposed as both a Joker van and as a Two-Face van ...
