I picked up three of the four 2-packs the other day; I apparently dropped out of SF games before they introduced Purple Man and Mexican Wrestler.

But I'm keeping them in the package for a little while, partly waiting to find some good reviews online, and partly because I'm still feeling burned by NECA's six-characters-then-stop line.

I think we may be in for the same thing-- was going to pick some up as I saw them at a TRU this weekend-- however 4 of each set-- and every Blankas right hand had fallen off and was rattling in the package-- One pack it happens-- every pack in the case not a good sign-- And although they look okay-- they also do look fragile-- (like Superhero Showdown Fragile)

I was reading through about 5 pages of a thread about this line on another forum. I was interested, but leery, since I didn't know anything about the company. I'm glad I read up. QC issues abound, with figures just falling apart right out of the package.

I still had to see them up close for myself, and I got a chance to this past weekend. Out of 10 different 2-packs I picked up at TRU, 3 of them had legs and/or feet broken off IN the package. Two more had hip joints that looked precariously close to breakage. I think I can safely pass on these.
