Dammit-- saw space strike at 2 Targets yesterday-- No Riddler

Yesterday at Target was amazing!!!
I got Gear Up Batman AND Riddler for... wait for it... $2.17!!!!!!!!!!!

They had them on the shelves but no price tags. I knew they were around $10 a pop but I wanted to see if they still were or if i could weasel my way out of that price. Because there is rumor of mattel dropping the price on some stuff.
So I went and scanned them, came up not in the system
Went to the dudes in electronics. They couldn't tell me either but told me to go to customer service.
So I go to customer service and she couldn't tell me either.
So she looks at me and is like "you want for $1?". I was like "SURE!!!!!!!!!!!!".
Both cost $2.17. I said thank you to her a lot.

Whats funny is that I ran into her later in the $1 stuff upfront and started talking a little. She then asked me how much they really were. Guess he saw right through me. I told her the truth... BUT SHE WAS MORE THAN OK WITH IT!!!!!!!
She said stuff that scans/rings up like that goes to "salvage" so she was more than ok selling me at that price. Less for her and the store to deal with later.
(I should have kept talking to her. She was cute. But I was there with friends and they were leaving. Maybe next time.)

It was Awesome.
Now I just really hope BatB follows the same path as the rumored YJ price drop. I'd actually start buying mattel product again.

I haven't. Kmart is still packed with the last version of the Batmobile.

I am really digging these new figures. Im pretty pumped my wife said she is going to pick up all of these for X-mas this year. I know she will find the basic figures but i really hope she finds the 3 deluxe ones as well. I went to the Kmart in Niagria Falls new York and they had nothing. I hope these arrive soon. I love the Knight battle figure.

target's sale cleared a lot of total armor batmobiles out of the way, maybe we'll see the new one at target first?

I thought this line has been officially cancelled as of the most recent round of QnAs.

There are a couple of repaints in the pipeline, but once stores clear out, that's pretty much it, isn't it?

I was under the impression stores would have it all the way up to the new Batman Movie toys. I swear Mattel said there is one more assortment due after the first of the year.

They did say one more wave is due but have not said who will be in it. I would honestly guess Gentlemen Ghost as he would fit with the theme. But who knows they could makea new figure instead of any of those that got skipped.I think the Flash would go over well with moms and colelctors but thats too easy for Mattel.

Well for anyone that can find them at Kmart, all toys will be buy 1 get one half off on Saturday.

I wanted to get into this line. I think the look of the figures were really neat. I just couldn't get past the holes on the shoulders and the legs. I was tempted to get Firestorm when I saw him on clearance one time and the Despero because he would have been a good scale with my JLU figures. Of course if they did a Nightwing I would have gotten that one. But honestly I'm tempted at getting that new Bats with the removable mask and sword.

I'm still foolishly hoping for a Robin, Owlman and Armored Lex Luthor!

Today at walmart I saw a new giant character pack.
It was a 3pack of what looked like a repaint of "Covert Attack" Batman, Gorilla Grodd, and a translucent Superman.
