Are you interested in the last JLU figures
Yes. $50 a 3-pack is worth it to me to finish off the line and be complete. 69%  69%  [ 173 ]
Maybe. I'll do what I did with the rest of the line and pick and choose the ones that I want. 8%  8%  [ 20 ]
Nope. $50 for a 3-pack of 4" figures (with repacked figures I already have) is just too rich for my blood. 16%  16%  [ 39 ]
GAH! I want these so much but $50? I guess I could donate plasma or sell a kidney on ebay. 4%  4%  [ 10 ]
What? They are still making JLU figures? 3%  3%  [ 8 ]

This is going to be posted later today at some sites as part of their Ask Matty answers- but Mattel also sent it to us to post since we have a lot of passionate JLU Fans.

This concerns the fate of the line and most likely what the announcement for 2012 would be.

Quote:
At this time there are just not enough JLU fans/customers to keep the line going. We tried lots of different combinations from single figures to 7 packs and not one of the JLU items sold well enough to continue JLU. (the 7 pack sold just as well as Parademons and Doom Patrol, none of which was even half of the min we needed to sell) From these sales, it is clear the customer base just is not large enough (despite being very passionate!) to continue the line. One thing we are looking into is considering running the final six tool'd 3 packs at the very small quota we are actually selling through on each previous JLU item (before sales or clearance pricing). If we did this, it would mean selling these packs (without changes to character line up) for around $50.00 each. If this is something fans would be interested in, please let us know. (the lower the production run, the higher the cost, this is why). We are just not sure if fans would be willing to pay this premium price for what is in some packs, only one new figure. Let us know!

So these are the remaining 3 packs:

Quote:
Guy Gardner ∙ Martian Manhunter ∙ Detective Batman
Blue Beetle ∙ Powered Up Fire ∙ Booster Gold
Toyman ∙ Aquaman ∙ Superman
Batman ∙ Vandal Savage ∙ Savage Time Superman
Mongol ∙ Wonder Woman ∙ Batman
Future Static ∙ Aquagirl ∙ Micron

I'd definitely pay $50 for:

Toyman ∙ Aquaman ∙ Superman
Batman ∙ Vandal Savage ∙ Savage Time Superman
Future Static ∙ Aquagirl ∙ Micron

I'd probably pay $50 for:

Blue Beetle ∙ Powered Up Fire ∙ Booster Gold

I'd might wait to see what the GL:TAS line looks like for these ones

Guy Gardner ∙ Martian Manhunter ∙ Detective Batman
Mongol ∙ Wonder Woman ∙ Batman

...that said, if we had to buy them all to get them, I'd do it.

I voted maybe, but i'll pick and choose.

There is no way i'm paying $50 for:
Guy Gardner ∙ Martian Manhunter ∙ Detective Batman
Blue Beetle ∙ Powered Up Fire ∙ Booster Gold

And the Toyman and Mongul 3-packs are pushing it at the price for 1 new figure. I already bought castings from Stew and if i can make them look good enough, i'm all out on JLU.

Yeah JUST barely worth it, but ONLY because there's not much left to go. I'd appreciate it if they spaced out the releases though so it was a little easier on the old wallet.

I'm not paying $50 for a three pack with 1 new figure. If it has two or three new figures, that's a different story.

I'm in but I WANT THEM SPREAD OUT OVER 2012. Was that said loud enough.

I also want Volcana in there being you promised a re-issue of her. So Put Mongul, Volcana and Toyman in a pack and you have a deal Mattel. No more Superman's or Batman's please. If they are going to cost this much then you should sure as hell cater to us that are STILL buying. I'm kind of glad all the lines I deal with this company are coming to an end. Just have to deal with them for MOTUC after 2012.

In those 6 packs there are 10 new figures by my count so it's roughly 30 dollars a figure to get the remaining releases. I'm totally and completely in for that deal. It would cost at least twice that much to get them all as customs so why not pay for the real deal? DO IT MATTEL!

As a matter of fact if the sets look like this, I would pay NOW for them:

Guy Gardner ∙ Mongol ∙ Detective Batman
Blue Beetle ∙ Powered Up Fire ∙ Booster Gold
Toyman ∙ Aquaman ∙ Volcana
Batman ∙ Vandal Savage ∙ Savage Time Superman
Dr. Destiny ∙ Firefly ∙ Batman
Future Static ∙ Aquagirl ∙ Micron

Hell make it a $300 Case and I'm ALL IN. Then I'm done, no more looking for stuff on the bay. Don't come back with we can do this because product is already produced. Do what what we ask and you will get some money from those of us that want to shell it out.

I'm in for $50 a 3-pack. I'm not really interested in all of them (I'm looking at your Micron and Aqua Girl) but it's close to what I would be paying for leaked figures from China on eBay anyways so it's not that bad.

The problem is, and this has been said MANY MANY TIMES, the packs would be offered AS IS. THERE IS NO BUDGET TO MAKE CHANGES.

So, if the pack was originally offered as 1 new figure, that's what we are getting. Still all the Bats and Supes. Volcana is not part of this mix. Nor are Dr. Destiny and Firefly.

Believe me, I want them too. BUT THIS IS IT. And it's "Take it or Leave it" time.

At $50 a pack, I'm in. I'm not happy about the price considering how many dupes I will end up with, but I'm in for JLU to the bitter end.

I'm all in. I'd rather get them for $50 a pack now than spend twice as much on eBay later. With the low production run, these are going to be very rare properties.

I'm in. I voted yes. If this is it. As long as it's not 2 - 3packs a month I can do it.

I'm in, but will admit I'm getting a little sticker shock. Hopefully if this is going to go through Matty will include more than 1 new figure to each set. I can't speak for the rest of you, but I have more than enough of the founding members to keep my son occupied for years to come.
